When it comes to movies, everyone loves a badass. Sometimes it comes in a great performance or in a movie that will clean up come oscar time, but more often than not it is the shining moments of average to solid films. Badassery is a loose definition of what I call these moments where a character just completely owns somebody or in many cases, several people. It is not always even in a physical manner as well. Some truly badass movie moments have come where not a single blow is landed.
I thought about making this a Top 10 or Top 25 list, but really there are just too many good ones throughout the years of movies and there is so much subjectivity in it.
To start, i'll go with Achilles vs the Temple Guards in Troy. It's on the movie channels this month and if I see it's on and I know it isn't past that point yet, I watch that scene every single time, and every single time it is awesome.
Achilles vs the Temple Guards
This was Brad Pitt at the height of his popularity, at the peak of his physical fitness before he was getting older, in a pure sand and sandals epic just wiping people out with sword, shield and spear. In a movie that has it's flaws, this is a scene that just never gets old. _________________

I figure i'll do about 1 a day. Maybe 2 a day, depends on how busy I am on any given day.
Pitt has 3 scenes in that movie that are worthy of any list of badassery, but this one was the best. The fight against Hector was the better scene, but the opening scene where he just runs up and drops the mountain dude and stands in front of the opposing army alone with your slightly modified quote above I would probably say was more of a badass moment. _________________

I was kinda hoping you would be reenacting the scenes, not just posting them... We'll see if this holds my interest...

It really set the tone for what to expect from Pitt/Achilles. _________________

Great Moments in Cinematic Badassery
Oldboy - The Corridor Fight Scene
Not only is this fight scene impressive for it's choreography and brutality, but the Oldboy corridor fight scene is also largely done in a single tracking shot. I'm a huge fan of the tracking shot in general, but this one stands out for the immense amount of activity involved. I'm not as big a fan of Oldboy as many on this site, but I absolutely love this scene. _________________

I hope one is where Walter pulls out a piece in the bowling alley and completely owns a pacifist in one click from the gun. _________________

Multiple Bourne scenes are preferred.
I would also put the Drive elevator scene up, but I'm not sure if DUKE will. That scene is pure badassery for me. _________________
