We might do a S&T for Felton. This would allow us to use our mini-MLE on someone like Randy Foye.

Knicks in 4

Way too many guards and not enough depth in the front court.

Jeffries backs up both spots, Novak gets minutes at the 4, Harrellson gets minutes if either goes down. Same as last year.

Knicks in 3.

Good get by the Knicks with Kidd if you guys can re-sign Lin. It's always a plus to have a HOF mentor for a potential up-and-coming player.

PG: Lin / Kidd (mini-MLE) / Bibby
SG: Mayo (S&T for $6M...hopefully) / Smith / Shumpert
SF: Anthony / Novak
PF: Stoudemire / Jeffries
C: Chandler / Harrellson

That'd be my dream scenario at this point.

We'd probably have to give up J.R at this point but I do like Mayo.

Yeah, you're probably right. Especially with Nick Young getting $6M. I dunno though, I'm hoping the Knicks connections with CAA will convince J.R. to sign for $2.8M this year and more $$ next season.

A team that stacked should finish 2nd in the East next year. Keyword is "should."

I don't think Shawne would want to be 11th man though.. he'd probably re-up with NJ first since they have like 5 players under contract.

Then again, they probably wouldn't want him back after last year, lol.

Then again, Dolan hates Shawne Williams for picking the Nets over us and probably wouldn't want him back either.

I was thinking he'd have more of a prominent role while Shumpert is out and then can play PF when we go small. You're probably right about Dolan, though.

Maybe if we're looking at someone who can play the two while Shump is out, Nick Young/ Daniel Green/ O.J. Mayo. I think all three would relish with the pieces already in place, Green more-so than the others.
