The quote tree on the last page is too long and retarded to comment on so I'll just say this.
Those of you complaining that Desean wasn't paid last year need to shut up. He could've held out for a contract but instead he said he was going to play football for the Eagles. If you agree to do that you better play at 100% and give your best effort, not halfass it each week and not show up for meetings. Shady McCoy played on a horrible contract and he gets hit twice as often and much harder on any given play.
Mesean's actions were cowardly and I have zero respect for him as a person. He is an extremely skilled player, but anything but polished and he has a me first player team second mindset. This wont change with a new contract. You'll hear him crying if he isn't getting the ball and you doing his usual pouting on the sidelines and arrogant reactions after catching the football. Dude needs to shut the hell up and buckle down this year or the fans are going to turn on him completely (assuming they haven't already which judging by this forum most of you support him).

When do Desean complain he don't get his catches? He know he is a big playmaker not your go to guy.
And LeSean had solid rookie season, and good 2nd and a great 3rd season. Desean had played very well the first 3 years, and LeSean knew he would be rewarded this off season.

Desean checks himself out of the game if he being neutralized on deep routes. And you don't pay a guy $10M a year if he can't do anything else.
Desean and Lesean played on the same level the first 3 years. Lesean has progressed significantly as a player whereas Desean has been the same one trick pony all 3 years. Lesean has rushed for over 1k yards twice, Desean has caught for over 1k yards twice. McCoy also had more catches in 2010 than Desean has had in any given year...
And to the bold, wtf does that mean? So did Desean. Horrible argument.

DeSean is what he is. A deep threat/playmaker. It's hard to value Deseans impact on the big, but Safeties are standing 30 yards from the LOS, which helps LeSean.
DeSean was terrible timing with new CBA and stuff, but the Eagles have been talking to Drew Rosenhaus about LeSean since the end of the season, would you resign and give him big money after his first two seasons? He was good, but not great. It's first his third season where he was great.
But I agree, LeSean deserves it more than DeSean, and I don't doubt that he's next on the Eagles resigning list, and it'll be done before the draft.

That is why there were 14 RBs with 1k rushing yards versus 19 WRs with 1k right? Hell, Jabar Gaffney caught for just under 1k yards.
1k yards is 1k yards, McCoy was also extremely productive from a receiving aspect. You don't have to give him big money after 2 seasons, you give him a reasonable contract for an up and coming RB, and better yet, he wasn't complaining about what he was making. The point is he played hard on a smaller contract to earn a larger one, just like Matt Forte.

We'll DeSean played "Hard" the first three years. I was on the trade Desean wagon most of last year, but he's signed and he said he would play "Hard" from now on.
And hopefully the Eagles lock Lesean up long term.
