Thoughts? Who would you have rather seen on the list? _________________ Welcome to Minnesota, Greg Jennings.

I would go Alan Page in the 1st and Matt Blair in the 2nd, but the other picks look about right. _________________

agreed.
it will be tough for Peterson to have the full career achievements that Page had. _________________

It would almost have to be Alan Page in the first. You can't pass up a talent like that, especially in a position as important as DT. _________________

Umm, Carl Eller? He would dominate even in todays game. Back when an average ST was 6'2" 270lbs he was 6'6" 280 and carved from marble. _________________

Alan Page in round 1, and not even close. One of the best DT ever. Peterson has a LONG way to go to even come close to him.

| Kleinsasser was good, but if he's our best 2nd round pick of all-time, well, let's just say that explains a lot. |

2nd round alternatives:
Lots and lots of trades of twos (including for Zimmerman....)
Ed White
EJ Henderson (nope, not long enough)
Sammy White
round 4:
Winston looks like the best
Mewelde Moore
Ray Edwards
Brian Robison
Wow, they such at round 2.....really, I just read through them all, and there aren't many guys that started more than a couple of years other Kliensasser.
Seriously, this is exactly why teams should be more willing trade draft picks for proven veterans. Go look at the lists....brutal. _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |
