It's comforting to know that we're retaining the same offensive line. It's all about consistency up front. This move should highly benefit Vick, hopefully we can keep him healthy this upcoming season.
Always knew Mathis was going to re-up with the Eagles.

Did someone really say this was the best interior o-line in the NFL? We may have arguably one of the best OT duo's but no where close to the best interior line. Sure, they are good in our running scheme, but they were getting destroyed in pass protection all of last year. Our QBs got sacked 50 times, and yes Vick holds onto the ball but Peters gave up what 2(?) sacks all year long, watch the games all the pressure is right up the middle.

No, it's just a different workout routine. Looks like he went from straight power lifting to high reps and explosive sets. He definitely changed his diet tho. He went from big and fat to ripped and big. Probably kept a lot of core power and lost all his belly weight. He looks great.

Mathis is using something, work out routine and all lol most of these guys 230+ are using something, they have so much science, chemistry and cutting edge nutritional advantages most of wont even know about for a long time.
I am sure tho a stricter diet and more a less caring about his diet, with faster up tempo work outs was the difference in his bodys transformation, a lot of lineman get comfortable in the NFL, i hear it time and time again.
Think about it you been a fat kid your entire life, and suddenly your a fat kid with a million dollars in your pocket and no one to tell you to stop eating and you still got the hottest women imaginable all over your(for your money) so its not like it matters. and you know your going to go out on a football field and burn 5000 calories like its nothing, so eating 20,000 calories and drink 4 bottles of champagne for a former fat kid on a friday night in the NFL is not unherd of .. thats why these guys balloooooooooooooooooon up when they retire!!!! like get f-ing grosss!!!
When its the guys like the Shannon Sharpes who were eating kale and lean turkey with green tea and protein shake the last 20 years , who look in better shape then then the 25 year olds in this league.
