1. Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Luck QB Stanford

2. Washington Redskins - Robert Griffin III QB Baylor

3. Minnesota Vikings - Matt Kalil OT USC

4. Cleveland Browns - Trent Richardson RB Alabama
This is a tough selection. I dont believe they will take Tannehill. I dont think they want to take as big of a project as Tannehill this high, and I think their sights are set on a different QB.
That said, they also have a huge hole at RB. And while RBs seemed to have lost value, we havent seen a RB prospect as well-rounded as Richardson since....well its been a while. Richardson is the total package and the very definition of a 3 down RB. He would be a good fit in Cleveland and should be a big step in developing the ground game.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Morris Claiborne CB LSU
Pretty easy pick here. With Richardson off the board, the Bucs really cant look anywhere else here with all the question marks at CB. Ronde Barber is ancient and Aqib Talib has serious character issues and nobody knows when he could slip up next. Also, Eric Wright isnt starter material. He is fantastic as a nickel CB, and I think the Bucs signed him in mind that he would be there most of the time. With the NFL changing to a passing league, nickel CB is basically a starting position. Adding Claiborne to what they have now would give the Bucs arguably the best CB corps in the NFL.

6. St. Louis Rams - Justin Blackmon WR Oklahoma State
Logic tells me the Rams will draft Blackmon, but my gut tells me they draft a DT. However, Im going with logic here. The Rams are committed to building around Bradford, and they cant go into next year with what they have at WR, or Sam Bradford will be taking even more coverage sacks (if you watch footage from last year, the WR corps is as much to blame on Sam getting sacked so often as the line).

TRADE!!!
Philadelphia trades their 1st and early 2nd round pick to the Jaguars for their first pick

7. Philadelphia Eagles - Dontari Poe DT Memphis
The Eagles dont often trade up, but I think they could "fall in love" with Poe here. He fits the montra of Reid's drafting and fills a huge need here. The Eagles were terrible stopping the run last year, and Poe's biggest strength is slowing the run game. With two great pass rushers at DE, Poe would balance the Eagles line giving them that big clogger in the middle to free up blockers.

8. Miami Dolphins - Ryan Tannehill QB Texas A&M
Tannehill is a great fit for the Dolphins system, and seems like a project HC Joe Philbin would like to work with. He has enourmous potential, and I think this is the year the Dolphins finally draft a franchise QB.

9. Carolina Panthers - Michael Floyd WR Notre Dame
WR isnt an immediate need for the Panthers, but long term, they will want Cam Newton to have a #1 receiver to throw to. Steve Smith is that guy right now, but is up there in age and wont be around for much of Cam's career. Floyd and Newton could be a next great QB/WR combination.

10. Buffalo Bills - Riley Reiff OT Iowa
The Bills have a gaping hole at LT with Bell still being a FA. Im going to assume he isnt going to re-sign with them at this point. Reiff is a solid LT prospect who is safe and should be able to anchor the LT spot.

11. Kansas City Chiefs - David DeCastro G Stanford
Wierd seeing a guard go this early, but Weve seen plenty that the Chiefs arent afraid to make a reach here. DeCastro is about as good as it gets as far as guard prospects go, and would be another step in giving the Chiefs the best young core of players in the NFL. If they can get a legitimate QB, watch out.

12. Seattle Seahawks - Luke Kuechly ILB Boston College
Will David Hawthorne re-sign? Im not so sure. Im going to assume no for the sake of the draft. Kuechly is a good fit for the Seahawks here and fills a huge need here. They could look at a pass rusher like Ingram, but the DE class is much deeper than the LB class this year.

13. Arizona Cardinals - Dont'a Hightower ILB Alabama
Suprised he goes this high? Maybe, but word is that Hightower could go earlier than many expect. I feel he is a great fit here, as the Cards have a huge need at ILB and he is a great compliment to Washington at ILB.

14. Dallas Cowboys - Quinton Coples DE North Carolina
Will the Cowboys finally move Ratliff to DE where he should be? Doesnt look like thats going to happen. With that said, the Cowboys need to get a DE. Coples is a lot like Calais Campbell, and he is very valueable to the Cardinals front. Coples is a steal here and could become a defensive lineman in the NFL.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars - Whitney Mercilus DE Illinois
Mercilus seems like a Gene Smith type of pick. Im not convinced they take him at 7, but if they move back, I definitely see them taking a chance on his potential here. Mercilus screams JPP 2.0, and could give the Jags that DE theyve been looking for since they traded up to take Derrick Harvey.

16. New York Jets - Melvin Ingram DE South Carolina
The Jets catch the falling Ingram here. He is a great fit at OLB, and fills a huge need for the Jets. Their defense used to be the best, but its lack of talent has caught up with it last year. They need to re-tool if they want to stay competitive.

17. Cincinatti Bengals - Dre Kirkpatrick CB Alabama
Suprised its not Jenkins? Kirkpatrick seems like the forgotten prospect in this years draft. He is still a fine prospect and fills a big need here for the Bengals.

TRADE!!!
New England trades their early first round and early second round picks to the Chargers for their first pick

18. New England Patriots - Fletcher Cox DT Mississippi State
Its not completely taboo for the Pats to move up. They did it for Jerod Mayo, and that worked out pretty well. With Cox falling a bit, I see the Pats using their surplus of picks to move up and fill one of their biggest needs.

19. Chicago Bears - Vinny Curry DE Marshall
Curry is a hot name to go higher than many think, and the shoe fits here for the Bears, who want to add a pass rusher opposite Peppers. Curry is a good fit at LDE.

20. Tennessee Titans - Michael Brockers DT LSU
The Titans go the BPA route here with Brockers. He is a boom.bust type of prospect, but could give them another Albert Haynseworth, hopefully without the headaches.

21. Cincinatti Bengals - Lamar Miller RB Miami
The Bengals dont have a starting running back. Miller isnt talked about much, but I think will go higher than many think. He is Benson's immediate replacement.

22. Cleveland Browns - Kendall Wright WR Baylor
Holmgrem doesnt usually draft WRs high, but the Browns dire need at WR could change that. Wright is a great fit for the WCO and would compliment the blooming Greg Little well.

23. Detroit Lions - Janoris Jenkins CB South Alabama
Seems Detroit is willing to take Jenkins here. They have done their research on him and have left a gaping hole at CB for him to fill. He is great value here if he can keep out of trouble.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers - Mike Adams OT Ohio State
The Steelers finally adress the OT position that had plagued them for years. They have had mediocre play at LT for years, I think they finally take a guy to plug in there for the long-term.

25. Denver Broncos - David Wilson RB Virginia Tech
The Broncos seem to have given up on Moreno. McGahee is good but not reliable. They also should be looking to add a playmaker out of the backfield.

TRADE!!
St. Louis trades their 2nd and 3rd round picks to the Texans for their 1st pick.

26. St. Louis Rams - Devon Still DT Penn State
The Rams still have a gaping hole at DT next to Langford. Still is a good fit at the nose in the 4-3.

27. San Diego Chargers - Jonathon Martin OT Stanford
The Chargers snag the falling Martin to take over at RT, which has been a huge problem position for the Chargers.

28. Green Bay Packers - Nick Perry DE USC
The Packers pillage USC for another pass rusher. The last one worked out pretty well, so why not give it another shot. Perry is a boom or bust type of prospect who would fit well as an OLB in the 3-4.

29. Baltimore Ravens - Cordy Glenn OT Georgia
The Ravens have yet to replace Ben Grubbs. Glenn gives the Ravens plenty of options. Either plug in Glenn at Grubbs' spot, or move Oher to guard and put Glenn at RT.

30. San Fransisco 49ers - Stephen Hill WR Georgia Tech
The 49ers desperately need a true #1 receiver. Hill wont have a huge impact out of the gate, but could develop into a star player.

31. New England Patriots - Harrison Smith S Notre Dame
The Pats secondary was scrapped together for the Super Bowl last year. They cant be reying on the same group of guys. They need to bring in a rookie.

TRADE!!!!
The Detroit Lions trade their 2nd round pick as well as their 1st pick next year to the Giants for their first pick

32. Detroit Lions - Peter Konz C Wisconsin
The Lions see Konz falling and promptly move up to take him. C and RG have been huge problem areas for the Lions, and they will probably be looking to replace Stephen Peterman at RG, and down the road will need a new C as Dom Raiola is getting near the end of his deal.

ROUND DEUX

33. Houston Texans - Alshon Jeffry WR South Carolina
The Texans moved down to get better value on one of the available WRs. They opt to draft a risky prospect in Jeffry. If he works out, the Texans offense will become even more potent and they could have arguably the most complete team in the NFL.

34. Indianapolis Colts - Coby Fleener TE Stanford
TE isnt a huge need for the Colts, but they need to add weapons for Luck and Fleener is the top receiver available. Also, the two have great history from college.

35. Minnesota Vikings - Brandon Boykin CB Georgia
The Vikings are terrible at CB. Boykin is very underrated and reminds me of a faster Antoine Winfield. I think he will be a star.

TRADE!!!
Seattle trades their 2nd and 3rd round picks to the Bucs for their 2nd and 5th round picks

36. Seattle Seahawks - Chandler Jones DE Syracuse
The Seahawks move up to ensure getting a pass rusher. They struggled getting to the QB last year, and Jones has huge potential.

37. Cleveland Browns - Brandon Weeden QB Oklahoma State
The Browns finally add their QB. Weeden will compete to start at QB with McCoy.

38. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mohammed Sanu WR Rutgers
The Jags WR corps is downright pitiful. They need to add multiple WRs early.

39. St. Louis Rams - Stephon Gilmore CB South Carolina
The Rams go the BPA route here and continue adding to the defense. CB was a huge issue last year for the Rams with all the injuries.

40. Carolina Panthers - Kendall Reyes DT UConn
The Panthers have a huge need at DT. I cant see them NOT going DT in such a deep class early.

41. Buffalo Bills - Andre Branch DE Clemson
The Bills made a couple of big FA signings at DE, but Anderson is inconsistent and Branch would add a lot to the rotation.

42. Miami Dolphins - Reuben Randle WR LSU
With the trade of Marshall, the Dolphins need to add a WR.

43. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jerel Worthy DT Michigan State
The Bucs have had a ton of injuries at DT, so they should add another player to the mix there.

44. Kansas City Chiefs - Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State
The Chiefs look to add the QB to take over for Cassel. They will probably try to develop both Cousins and Stanzi.

45. Dallas Cowboys - Brandon Brooks G Miami
Brooks is a sleeper pick, and could go earlier than many think. The Cowboys made a couple signings at guard, but both players are mediocre at best.

46. Jacksonville Jaguars - Marvin McNutt WR Iowa
The Jags double up on WR (something Gene Smith does a lot), looking to surround Gabbert with sufficient options at WR.

TRADE!!!
Green Bay trades their 2nd and 3rd round picks to the Jets for their 2nd pick

47. Green Bay Packers - Trumaine Johnson CB Montana
The Packers secondary got shredded at the end of last year. Johnson is a big versitale player that could play CB or S.

48. San Diego Chargers - Mark Barron S Alabama
I have Barron falling for a couple reasons. But, the Chargers have should be looking to add competition for the spot opposite Weddle.

49. San Diego Chargers - Ronnell Lewis OLB Oklahoma
The Chargers have been searching forever for an OLB to replace Merriman since his injury and roid bust.

50. Chicago Bears - Alfonzo Dennard CB Nebraska
Though they re-signed Jennings, they need to add more depth to the CB corps.

51. Philadelphia Eagles - Tank Carder LB TCU
The Eagles dont usually draft LB high, but the need at that position may force them to rethink. Carder could challenge for a starting position.

52. Tennessee Titans - Zach Brown OLB North Carolina
The Titans look to complete the LB unit, adding Brown opposite Ayers.

53. Cincinatti Bengals - Kevin Zietler G Wisconsin
The Bengals signed Wharton, but guard still needs to be addressed.

54. New York Giants - Doug Martin RB Boise State
The Giants cut Jacobs, and need to add another back to the rotation.

55. Atlanta Falcons - Dwayne Allen TE Clemson
I give the Falcons a TE high every year to be the future replacement of Tony Gonzalez. Will this be the year Im finally correct?

56. Pittsburgh Steelers - Alameda Ta'amu DT Washington
Hamton's days in Pittsburgh may be numbered, the Steelers should look to develop a new NT.

57. Denver Broncos - Brandon Thompson DT Clemson
They lost Brunkley, and DT was an issue prior to that.

58. Houston Texans - Shea McClellin DE Boise State
The Texans replace Williams, they want to have a rotation at OLB.

59. New York Jets - Mychal Kendricks ILB California
Bart Scott seems done. They couldnt get an ILB in the first round, so they add the best one available here.

60. Baltimore Ravens - Jayron Hosely CB Virginia Tech
The Ravens are very thin at CB.

61. San Fransisco - Kelechi Osemele G Iowa State
San Fran has a big hole at G.

TRADE!!!
San Diego trades their 3rd round pick and 2nd rounder next year to the Patriots for their 2nd round pick

62. San Diego Chargers - Tommy Streeter WR Miami
The Chargers move up for the high-potential Streeter, could become Rivers' #1 target.

63. New York Giants - Zebrie Sanders OT Florida State
The Giants have a couple guys to challange for the tackle positions, adding competition is always a good thing especially if youre adding a high-potential guy like Sanders.

I like the couple guys you picked for Detroit, but our options are gonna be slim when it comes time to replace Backus next year.

No 1st, and little cap space. Don't know if Konz is worth that scenario.

Love to see Jacksonville trade down. Mercilus isnt my ideal pick there, but getting him there isnt terrible because he has the potential/athleticism. I do like Perry more though who is very athletic too

You took a great first round draft for Cleveland and followed it up with an abysmal 2nd round. We need a RT and a good one...not a project in the late rounds.

No WR in the first two rounds for Cleveland?

Not very likely my friend.

Don't a fan of the Giants draft

I have no problem with the trade down, but I do have problem with the draft

I would hate if the Giants go RB in the first

I also do not think the Giants go TE in the first. The Giants signed Bennent because they believe he can be their starter. They will probably draft a TE with one of their later picks

I was telling some in the Eagle forum that I'm not sure if I would take Poe at 15, so trading up for him is out of the question for me.

Rather stay at 15 and take Fletcher Cox.

Then get a CB like Boykin or Hosley at 46.

Like the Fleener pick at 51, however.

While I doubt Perry makes it that far, I'm actually not sure about him in the 3-4. Sounds like many think he won't succeed because of his stiffness. I don't have anything against Johnson, but he hasn't shown anything that makes me think its worth throwing away our 3rd to move up to get up. I think there will be plenty of decent CB prospects at our 2nd if we don't trade up, and even our 3rd.

Overall B-

No need for a DE that early after signing Mario and Mark Anderson. We need CB or WR after going OT in rd 1.

Give the bucs Doug Martin in the 2nd. They need a running back behind that line they have. Blount can only run. They need someone who can catch. They can get a DT in the later rounds and have much bigger needs like OLB and RB.

Great 2nd round pick for the Titans but terrible 1st. Brockers is trash and screams bust. Konz, Still, or Perry would be much better.

Don't like the Eagles trading up for Poe, I'm comfortable going into the season with Dixon and Patterson 1-gapping. I would rather us stay at 15 and look for a UT (Fletcher Cox) if we do take a DT, that is.

Fleener is a great value pick in the second!

TRADE!!!
New England trades their early first round and early second round picks to the Chargers for their first pick

27. San Diego Chargers - Harrison Smith S Notre Dame
The Chargers reach for a big need at safety. Smith's stock has been rising and could very well sneak into the 1st round. The Chargers are a team that reaches pretty frequently, so this pick makes sense in that aspect.

48. San Diego Chargers - Derek Wolfe DT Cincinatti
The Chargers defense is decimated. They really need to add players to the front seven.

49. San Diego Chargers - Ronnell Lewis OLB Oklahoma
See above.

They dont have a huge need at S, they actually upgraded from what they had last year in Gregory.

With Nick Perry still on the boar, i see absolutely ZERO chance we could pass on him at that point. Pass rush is our biggest need by FAR, and he's the best pass rusher in the entire draft. He's a no brainer at the pick there.

In the 2nd, i'd say no to both. We need NT more than DE, we have quite a few really good DE's on this team with more potential. We need some depth guys, rather than starters, not a pick to go with in the 2nd.

With the two back to back 2nd round picks...I'd say Mark Barron is a no brainer with one of the picks. After that, i'd look at going with NT or OG, either Brandon Washington, or Amini Silatolu would be my choice for that. I'd be ok with Alameda Ta'amu if we decided to go there in the 2nd.

I'd give a no go to the 2nd trade up, with gaining that extra 2nd rounder, we dont need to trade up again, certainly not for another project WR that will never be anything more than Floyd is now if he gets that good. We're fine at WR now with Eddie Royal/Floyd/Meachem/Vincent Brown. This wont be a high priority. I would only trade up if we went with Ta'amu in the 2nd, and then decided that one of the OG's i mentioned earlier were worth trading up into the 2nd for.

So overall i'd say....

Nick Perry
Mark Barron
Alameda Ta'amu/Washington/Silatolu
If anything Washington/Silatolu

That would be a 1000x better draft than you have now...
