It stands for Zoltan. They are making a Z with their hands. Mocking it from a movie.

It's from the movie Dude Where's My Car.

How about those Bucs scoring two TDs in the rout against against the Cards. The offense has woke up this month.

We went from historically low run scoring games to the highest scoring team in the MLB in June!! This is truly unbelievable!! 3 HR's in one inning tonight! They kept saying 4 is the magic # for runs scored, and we scored at least 4 runs in 19 of the 26 games in the month of June, posting an 15-4 record in that span!!

When Clint Barmes hits a home run, you know your team is having a field day! Laughing

This team sure has been hot. Hopefully they hold onto this lead and sweep the cards tomorrow. They could possibly take 46-47 wins into the break.

Yet another TD put on the scoreboard today.

Alvarez with the grand slam which now gives him 15 homers and 44 rbi's on the year. When he gets in a groove he really goes on a tear.

I hope Cutch isn't hurt too bad.

The Pirates now have a NL-leading 39 homers this month. Surprised I hope they will continue to think it's June for the following three months to follow. They have far exceeded my expectations already. With the pitching as good as it has been I don't see a collapse like last year. I think they will continue to be competitive as long as the pitching continues to be solid.

Cutch said he's okay. Hurdle repeated this as well, but said he's giving Cutch the day off tomorrow just in case.

El Toro protected the plate on that 3-2 Grand Slam. Very impressive at-bat by him. Seems like he's getting better at the plate.

He can be a consistent 30 HR hitter with a decent average at this pace. I never expect a .275 average out of him, but many good power hitters got by on .250 before. Adam Dunn is a huge example.

So, I'm thinking of going to a game sometime this week. Maybe Tuesday or Thursday night.

Anyone want to meet up and go to the game? Bleachers General Admission FTW Cool

Damn, I have tickets to tonight's game but can't make it. I gave them to my son and his girlfriend.

Oh well, we'll get it right one day and meet up!

Andrew McCutchen was named national league player of the month for June.

He's starting July off in the same manor. I hope he keeps it up!

After last nights game he's batting.354 which he's tied for second in the major league!

Congrats Cutch!

That will work. Cool

What a dramatic victory tonight!! This game could be one of those times where you feel something special could possibly be happening with this team. Don't want to get my hopes up too high but there is no denying things are clicking right now. Smile
