Proud of the way they battled back today. Lester was mostly good but Verlander was awesome, I think we only had one decent scoring opportunity against him.
Our bullpen is gonna suck huh?

I was NOT happy with Lester's performance. 4 Ks, 3 BBs, and he gave up way too many hard hit line drives and deep fly balls. He had some timely ground balls, but overall, he didn't look "ace dominant" like JV did.

Meh, first start of the season against a really dynamic offense, I don't mind it too much.
Bullpen is going to be a problem. Bowden should eventually get a bigger role IMO. I'm a big fan.

I actually think Aviles could have a pretty decent year with the bat. He has some pop and is a nice addition to the bottom of the order.

Well, if we can salvage a game in this series, it will be immensely helpful to keeping things manageable early and not falling too far behind in the division.
