Is there any player the Bengals would trade up to get: Cox, Kuechly, Martin, deCastro?
Here is one reasonable deal.
Trade:
Cincinatti trades picks #17, #21 and #81 for pick #11, #44; #75 and #182: 970 + 800 + 185 = 1955; 1250 + 460 + 215 + 19 = 1944
The Bengals swap up in rounds 1 and 3. The Chiefs get Oakland's 1st for their 2nd and 5th.

I don't think cincy covets anyone enough, or has that bad of a need, to trade up.
MAYBE, and I stress MAYBE, if Decastro or Floyd fall to 14-15 they'd consider moving from 17. But mike brown calls all those shots, and that's not his MO. So I really doubt it. _________________

Ki-Jana Carter.
That trade-up deal still haunts Mike Brown IMO, and I just don't see the Bengals giving up picks to trade-up.
Mike Brown pulled a real stunt with OAK to get the extra picks with the Palmer trade, and I reckon he wants two high quality guys with them.
Just don't see a trade-up. _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. At times, he must rock back in a chair, light a cigar and say to himself, '....not bad for a life's work......' " |

I have seen speculation like this where the Bengals trade up in the 1st, but I cannot think of the last time the Bengals wanted to trad up.
KiJana Carter was the last one I could think of. There were rumors that Cincy tried to trade with GB last year in order to grab Dalton.
Of course this forum would know the Bengals better than I would. Is anyone aware of a 1st round trade that I am missing? _________________ Go Browns ~ Win Tribe ~ Cavs!

Up? No. Carter was the only time they have traded up in 1. _________________ 2013 Draft Needs: RB, Safety. Maybe RT and backup LBs |

| Bengals usually sit tight and hope someone good falls to them. Supposedly we discussed trading up for Darrelle Revis the year he went a couple picks in front of us. The Bengals traded down twice in 2004 with Denver and St Louis. Passing on Steven Jackson to take Chris Perry didn't work out any better than trading up for Kijana Carter. |
