:[30] - San Francisco 49ers - select - TE - Coby Fleener {Stanford}
The 49ers run a TE heavy offense, and adding a weapon like Fleener will further serve to lure coverage away from Moss, VD, Crabtree, Manningham, and Gore. Adding a red-zone and mismatch threat like Fleener on the other side of Vernon Davis will be a huge boost to our offense, and give opposing defenses headaches. Coming from a system running many of the same elements at Stanford, Fleener won't take much time at all to adjust to our scheme. Delanie Walker is a FA after 2012, and can still be utilized as a situational TE/FB shifting all over the backfield and line. Fleener's combination of size, speed, and ability to pluck passes over defenders is just too enticing to pass up on. _________________

With the 33rd pick, the St. Louis Rams select...
Kendall Wright, Wide Receiver, Baylor
First Richardson, now Wright. Rams number one need in the draft is to add playmakers and the Rams have added two of the best. Wright will be Rams version of Santonio Holmes in Brain Schottenheimer's offense. There's no doubt he's a perfect fit for the offense. He doesn't have the size, but he's big enough and his other traits are off the charts. He has the speed to run right by defenders, soft hands, and some of the best ball skills in the draft. He can also make some of the best tacklers look silly. Wright is clearly the best player available and fills the largest Rams need... adding a perimeter threat. Easy pick and I can't believe he fell. _________________

with the 2.33 pick of the 2012 draft (acquired via trade w/ St. Louis Rams)
the Pittsburgh Steelers select
Bobby Massie, OT, Ole' Miss
Bobby Massie has all the physical tools to excel at either RT or LT. At 6'6-1/8, with yardstick arms and the quick feet to get to the edge as well as pull and get to the 2nd level, Massie has the potential of a guy like Mike Adams, without the burdening character and work ethic concerns. He's got the right attitude and the frame to be a standout LT for a team whose offensive line has been an abomination for years. A little bit of time in the weight room and some technique work to improve his anchor, and Massie's upside is absolutely tremendous. _________________

With the 39th pick, the St. Louis Rams select...
Reuben Randle, Wide Receiver, Louisiana State
Simply too much value at a need to pass up. Randle will be a great target for Sam Bradford on the opposite side of Mike Wallace. Add Trent Richardson and Steven Jackson to the mix, and all of the sudden St. Louis has weapons. Not to mention Lance Kendricks, last years 2nd round pick, could also break out. _________________

with the 2.43 pick of the 2012 draft,
the Pittsburgh Steelers select
Amini Silatolu, LG, Midwestern University
The Steelers take yet another step in solidfying their woeful offensive line by adding a guard with one of the highest ceilings in this draft. Silatolu has demonstrated impressive explosion, strength, and athleticism, plus a nasty streak that will fit right in with the Steelers. _________________
