Linebacker Joey Porter played for three teams over the course of a 13-year career. Porter knows which organization he wants to end with.

Porter says he is retiring as a Steeler which sounds like he signed or will sign a 1-day deal with the team.

Great player and better talker while in his prime. I was and am a huge fan of his, I wish him the best in retirement. Much like randle el, he'll be some part of the media IMO.

Thats what I expect.

I loved everything he gave Pittsburgh. He was so much fun to watch.

Personally, I like him more than James Harrison.

It was so funny when Brandon Marshall went off on him that time. I am at work so I can't get the video, but I am sure Brandon said something like, "everyone around the league knows he's soft with popcorn muscles. His name is Peezy; I don't even know what Peezy is ... (*Brandon looks at the camera*) Joey.

Laughing Laughing Laughing

But yeh - he's had a very good career, despite the recent decline.

I remember that one, he made fun of Porter been shirtless all the time... of course Marshall himself was doing the interview.... shirtless Neutral

Hated the guy in his Steeler days, but that's because he was such a good player. A guy that ran his mouth but could back it up. Much respect.

GL in retirement.

The guy was a solid defensive player during his career. All the best to him in retirement.

Joey was by far my favorite player growing up. For some reason, the one play that stands in my mind was his sack of Peyton Manning in the 4th quarter of the AFC Divisional playoff game. I just remember it being such an important play (until it was overshadowed a little bit later Laughing )
