The good news from tonight...
RHP Cody Buckel went 6.1 innings, 1 hit, 1 run, 2 walks, 8 strikeouts for High A Myrtle Beach.
Through 4 starts he's at 21.1 innings, 7 hits, 2 runs (0.84 ERA), 8 walks, 29 strikeouts. After the year he had last year, he has to be getting damn close to cracking the top 100 prospects lists.
Jurickson Profar doubled tonight. Mike Olt walked twice.
Carlos Pimentel pitched 5 shutout innings for Frisco, with no walks and 4 strikeouts.
Leonys Martin went 2-5 with a double for AAA Round Rock. _________________

I better go see Profar and Olt while both are still in AA. _________________

DAT YU DARVISH!
I was in Frisco working for the Roughriders, but watched nearly the entire game on the TV in the clubhouse again. Ian provided all the offense Yu needed with the first at bat of the game.
8.1 innings, 7 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, 10 strikeouts
Best start, by far. Against the hated Yankee$. Love it. _________________

He is so fun to watch when he is on. He looked 10x more comfortable last night and hopefully this will continue through the season. _________________

I'm so happy I ended up drafting 4 Rangers for my fantasy baseball team. Keep it up guys! _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

Was watching him pitch today, started thinking what is his future with us?
Is he going to be moved back to starter? or permanently in the bullpen.. not that I mind him there right now, but future wise. The kid is looking good obviously he will hit his rough patch, but I like what I see from him and wouldnt mind seeing him spot start later in the season
Only bad thing right now is, he is the only lefty in the pen _________________

Robbie Ross leads the AL and is tied for the Major League lead in wins, with 4. _________________

I told you man, he's got the prototypical lefty "stuff," so I really like him. He's a keeper. I really hope we are not forced into a decision where we have to trade him. I think several teams have eyes on him now. _________________
