We all know how much John Elway loves his pass rushers. I think there are 3 pass rushers Denver can possibly draft at 25 and two at 57.
25-
Nick Perry
Whitney Mercilius
Chandler Jones
57-
Vinny Curry
Andre Branch.
For me, I love Vinny Curry. Either he or Mercilius at 25 would be a great pick.
I'd love to see either
Brockers/ Curry
or
Mercilus/ Ta'Amu or Thompson

We would have to trade up to 6 to get Ingram. Not going to happen. _________________

No. However something I have thought about is what are the chances that Copels falls? His stock seems to be dropping. His talent is undeniable but he seems to lack desire. IDK what they would do. I still think he goes in the teens but you never know _________________

I like Curry, Mercilus, Perry and Jones, also Shea McClellin and maybe Coples if he slides. _________________

| The guy who intersts me is Brandon Joiner out of Arkansas State. Talk about a guy who will be flying "under the radar". Here's a guy who will be available, that won't cost us a 1st or a 2nd, and he is a beast in every sense of the word. |

Perry or Curry would do it for me. Like them both. Mercilus over Coples, both are a risk though. Haven't done my research on Jones; McClellin seems more like an OLB to me. _________________

Okay, buddy. Let me make this politically correct.
In my opinion, Ingram has to fall to at least #16 in order for it to be feasible for us to trade up. We'd have to give up our 1st and 2nd. Anything higher and we are either trading our 1st, 2nd and 3rd, or future picks, both of which I think are terrible ideas.
So, that means that Jacksonville, Carolina, Buffalo, Seattle, Arizona, Dallas, Philly and the NYJ all have to decide not to take the best pass rusher in the draft. All those teams I listed need pass rushing help. Therefore, I find it highly unlikely that any competent F.O would make the required move to land Ingram. That is enless we want to send our first, second and third in 2012 and our first in 2013 to get one player.
I guess I could have made this long post before and not have been so short, but I really didn't think anyone was even talking about the possibility of Ingram, simply because it would take so much to get him. _________________

really hope we don't go anywhere near Chandler Jones at 25.
seems to me the only way we'll stay put at 25 is if a player we identified falls to that point. _________________

(cough) (cough) Bruce Irvin (cough) (cough)
No but seriously... Athletically, Irvin is the best pass rusher in this draft. Problem is, thats all he can do. Hes small (like Doom) and is very poor in playing angles. I remember a game against Pitt where he just got eaten up in TE chip blocks. Still, hes got a ton of potential. But if were talking pass rushers, he should be at the top. _________________

Why so?
Hes just as good as Mercilius, IMO he might be better. A big nasty DE, who should really play strongside in a 4-3. He'd be perfect for this team. _________________

If they want a prospectively boom as a pass rusher, maybe they will package up the two forth rounders and nab Coples if he starts to fall in the draft? _________________ Ninja stealth muggers in the Bellagio has left me in a state of congitive disonance... |
