They should try to merge Dunta and Samuel. I'm thinking DBZ style.
Then they will get someone who can tackle and cover. _________________

Good pickup for a 7th, but I think people are overrating this signing a bit.
Dont get me wrong, wouldve loved for the Steelers to do this, but Samuel really isnt that good anymore and is overpaid. Perhaps he can pick it back up in Atlanta, but I havent been impressed with him in a few years. Still, as a number 2 next to Grimes, thats a very nice duo. _________________

Really? A 7th?
Come on. The Titans could have easily given a 6th or even a 5th.
I mean, we don't NEED him... but for a quality corner like him, at that price? _________________

I'm thinking we'd call him 'Adunta Samuelson.' His SSJ4 form would include dreads several miles long. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

I hope you don't really believe that.
-Can't tackle
-Gambles too much
-Gets beat in coverage too much
-Can't press
He's been nothing but a big name since he left New England, where BB made him look good and made him his money. _________________

I also keep hearing some say he is not good anymore.... Well 80% of the philly fans disagree.. Go check out their MB and also

| Quote: | | Samuel and Grimes are a great pair of starting corners. Remember, Samuel was number one in both yards per pass and Success Rate in 2010, then third in both stats for 2011. I know our charting isn't perfect, but that's got to be a pretty good indicator that the guy can play |
Profootball Focus have him rated as highly also
Not saying he is the old Samuel... But the guy is still a real good CB with great instincts (who cant tackle....lol) .. He is a gambler.. He will win some and lose some |

| yeah, samuels has still got it. If you don't believe that, you haven't been watching the eagles the last couple years. Yeah, he'll gamble but he'll also get you 7 interceptions in a year |

I'm not believing some of you guys when you say he isn't good anymore. That's BS. He was a top 10 CB. Maybe not anymore, but he would start on just about any team in the NFL if given the chance except maybe the Eagles who have DRC and Aso. Other than that, anyone would be fortunate to have him. He'll play at a high level at LCB for us in Mike Nolan's scheme which is favorable for DBs. Guaranteed. _________________

He can tackle, he just usually chooses not to. He gambles a lot but not "too much", he was top 5 in just about every coverage metric last season. |

LOL, I would love for you to check the stats. And you act like Belichek is some DB guru, your secondary isn't very good and you haven't had a good corner since Asante left. _________________

This was an insanely brilliant move by the Falcons getting him for 3 years 14.5M and only a 7th... he cut his pay in HALF to play for Atlanta... wow. _________________

Because he was no longer the starter in Philly. He wanted to start and be on a playoff team. _________________
