I just have to put in my 2 cents on this DeCastro/Rieff business. Not a Lions fan, but I have always liked your team. Rieff was the better choice and the better player. Athletic,proven, and capable of playing anywhere on the O-line but center. Of course, eventually being LT was the point, and I think he will sooner than later. DeCastro is a good player, but I think he may be the most overrated player in this draft. Draftniks have inexplicably fallen in love with this guy and have talked himup like he was the second coming of Jon Hannah. Not even close. From what I've read since the draft, a lot of NFL teams didn't even have him as the top guard. The Lions definitely made the right decision. Congratulations. |
