Spielman better bookmark this thread!

Look at all the praise he's getting!

By week 2, it will be replaced with topics about him being fired.

LOL....not all fixed yet, but nice first day.

Good pick. Most would argue Safety was a bigger need than CB at this point, hopefully MN goes CB or WR in round 3.

I don't think there's an argument at all. This team has 0 safeties on the roster capable of starting, but they do have 2-3 corners who are capable.

The more I think about this pick, the more I hate it. We have two strong safeties now in Raymond and Smith. Sweet.

Yep. as they say...the first round is the easiest.

Lets see how he does in 3-7...

Very good pick, they needed leadership in the secondary, they got it, they needed someone who tackle, they got it, they needed someone who could hold onto the ball, they got it.

Raymond is nothing better than a backup/special teamer.

Oh lord Raymond is a raw prospect that only played due to injury.

Oh so we have Smith and no one then? We drafted another SS? Great.

And since when was Reymond considered someone who would or should play?

Smith is a legit starting safety, no one else on this roster fits that bill. This was a very good pick.

Our scheme is so bleh that FS and SS are basically the same thing.

Besides, if Raymond is starting at all, I see him playing at FS. He played there last season, Jamarca Sanford played SS

As soon as he puts on a Viking jersey, he'll have the dropsies like the rest of the Vikings defense!

It's a curse!

Correct, they have Smith and no one else, that's why they needed a starting safety, maybe two.

A position we still need.

Almost ANYONE is an upgrade at our Safety position, it's that pathetic.

I guess it's acceptable to say this in public now that we have a better safety on board. Laughing
