| I almost wondering if this was a case of the Packers planning on trading up in the 3rd round at some point to draft Hayward, but the asking price by the Patriots was so low how could you not do the trade? I mean #90 and a 5th round pick for #62 is unreal. |

Can't complain with a ballhawking secondary player. It will be interesting to see how the S situation is handled. I would expect to see Burnett take on a lot of the safety responsibilities vacated by Collins departure, and Woodson to step in as a complimenting S.
The camp battle between Heyward and House should be fun to watch. _________________

He's good in zone coverage but he can't tackle. I'm 100% confident we could have gotten him at #90. _________________

Patriots gave up 284 points and got back 166.
Hasn't missed a start the last 3 years. I love the pick. _________________

What a cheap trade up. I was sure it would have cost us a 4th.
Two more TT myths are biting the dust today.
TT rarely trades up. Its practically expected at this point.
TT never drafts a CB under 6'. |

100% confidence in something that can never be proven?

No clue what to think of this, but it is an area of need and I trust TT. _________________

They also got 2 picks. After this they were done, IIRC. Their defense was nearly as poor as ours. They need to add people. _________________ GO PACK GO!

Actually Heyward is a very underrated tackler. I love this guy, hes extremely undervalued but has the same size and ball skill ability as Mo Claiborne. Josh Robinson and Trumaine Johnson got picked right after we took Heyward, your really confident he would be passed over 21 more times when he would clearly be the best CB left with those two gone? _________________

I guarantee that you're wrong. 100.1% | I suppose.
My opinion, then, is that we could have gotten him at #90. _________________

I am 1002% sure that you can't prove that.
I feel this pick is underwhelming. Hope he proves me wrong. _________________ GO PACK GO!

Bentley, Dennard, Boykin, Norman and Leonard Johnson could have feasibly been ranked ahead of him on numerous boards.
I'm not mad at the pick. In fact, I wanted him in G&G, just not at #62. Hope he turns out to be a stud, obviously. _________________

| Mayock loves Hayward .. Had him rated in the mid 30's. The guy seems like a good fit for the Packers. |
