Well, you called it. Still bizarre if you ask me. Granted, I despise Auburn (and Tennessee) with a passion so I'm biased but choosing them over Bama is a headscratcher even if I wasn't. He could come in and start on an elite defense next to Trey Depriest (assuming CJ Mosley declares early) in the NFL Factory Saban has been building and have a great chance at 3 rings. Or he can go and wreak havoc for the Tigereagles and not win a ring and then get drafted.
It's a long time until February... | Alabama is a better program, but if people just went to the best football program, everyone would go to Bama and USC. Clearly distance was a factor for him (he mentioned his family didn't have transportation) and having people in his ear every day certainly didn't help Bama's chances.
Anyway, tough loss. Something tells me you'll be alright though between Derrick Henry, Matthew Thomas, and a billion other guys.
Some good news for you - Robert Foster will be visiting Alabama later this month. _________________

Well losing Reuben kind of blows. But I'm kind of at the point where if you want to decommit from Alabama and go to Auburn, go ahead. Best of luck to you individually. You won't be on the winning side of things in the Iron Bowl. _________________

The recruiting process is becoming more and more like some bad reality show. There's no rhyme or reason to these kids' decisions and that's what frustrates me. They are now treated as celebrities and enjoy the short-lived power they have by playing games with coaches. I don't mind it when a kid chooses to go to another school but just 5-6 days ago he was stating that he was %100 Bama and now....... |

The best one was Cyrus Kouandjio. And then Brent Calloway.
I wonder what those Auburn coaches are telling these kids to get them to sway so easily. Maybe something like, "come play for us. Our depth chart isn't so stacked and two deep with starters at every position like Alabama." _________________

No shocker there. Our WR corps is young but deadly. Give me Eddie Williams over Carter any day. _________________

Yeah this to me isn't really an issue. Earlier this year it seemed as though Duron Carter wasn't going to get that much playing time. I don't think this hurts us at all. _________________

I feel that way about Hubbard. He's the guy I want to really see step up and be a force on defense. |

This sucks as far as depth but reports were that he wasn't as far along as expected. John Fulton passed him on the depth chart. I hope Geno Smith is having a good camp and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Collins get more burn. That's a good thing. _________________
