Thrill, ideas on OL and running game after 3 games? Both in the passing and running schemes and plays. I loved the way All our runners got some touches against the Hogs. Woulda liked to see more carries for Lacey that were not from the goal line. I want to see mroe counters/long runs from him and Yeldon. McCaron saw some pressure in his face tho.

OL looked much more dominant in the running game and put up over 200 yds. No RB had 100+ but 3 of them had 55 or more. The weather was really bad on Saturday so it helps that we can run the ball. I expect us to put up big yardage all around this wkd but I bet the subs get early burn which is important for the football program as a whole.
I'll be curious to see Dee Hart's patience as the season moves on even to next year. Kenyan Drake has looked awesome and could take carries away from him. And this is before Tenpenny and possibly Derrick Henry arrive next year. Will he transfer or be content to contribute in a minor role and compete for championships? I noticed he was in on return teams late in the game. I'd love to see him alongside Jones in KOR from the beginning of the game. He's deadlier in the open field. _________________

I'm always looking for the next potential transfer ain't I thrILL
He's in a little bit of a bind right now with Yeldon looking so good. If he does want to leave, he should do so right after the season because he's already a RS Freshman I believe.
But yeah, I think he should be returning kicks as well. |

So while I was watching the LSU game last night, I noticed that the play by play guy kept talking about how deep they were at running back. They seem like they are but does anyone on the country have as much depth at running back as we do?

Texas is the only other team. Before the season started, a few posters had lists of the top units in the country. Only 1 poster had us as a Top 10 backfield in the nation (another had us as HM). I saw LSU in several lists. I found it hilarious bcuz McCarron is an elite QB now having dominated on THE biggest stage. Mettenberger hadn't done anything except get arrested and bounced from Georgia yet was getting more props. LoLokay. LSU has a good RB corps but ours is more dynamic esp with Fowler. _________________

I didn't get a chance to watch the game yday bcuz I was in dtown San Diego showing some cousins from T-Dot around the city. Had such an awesome time. So I'm watching the replay on ESPN3.com right now. What a tremendous TD catch by White! Our WR corps may be young but they're stallions. Gonna be fun to watch them get even better. _________________

I thought Saban was gonna come unhinged on Sims after that 16yd sack. McCarron is looking very good right now, riding high going into our SEC schedule.
Question: I don't remember seeing Kevin Norwood out there, was he hurt? I know he had a drop or two the last few weeks so I wonder if he's in the dog house. |

I saw him play a few snaps but left the game shortly after. He's not in the doghouse; he's just a little banged up.
Also:
| Quote: | | Five-star athlete Derrick Henry, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound star from Yulee, Florida, will hold a press conference at his high school on Thursday to announce his decision, and has already narrowed his choices to two schools: Alabama and Tennessee. |

Bama lock IMO. He's been tweeting and posting pics about bama on the regular. _________________

I've heard a few things about Laremy Tunsil that you'll like.
1. He is good, good friends with Derrick Henry, who will recruit him to Bama.
2. His HS mentor/coach/whatever is pushing him to Bama. _________________

This would be so, so nice. Tunsil would be a great get and fill a need quickly. |
