Interesting article from Bleacher Report on it

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1706581-power-ranking-the-25-most-successful-college-football-programs-of-the-bcs-era

With the BCS Era coming to an end in a few short weeks, do you agree or disagree with some of the teams on this list???

Alabama with 3 National Titles during the time frame.

Not in the top 10.

List automatically disqualified.

How has Virginia Tech been more successful than Alabama in the BCS era? Alabama has literally won three times as many national championships as Virginia Tech has won BCS bowl games.

It's about their overall play during the 15 years.

Hey Alabama has been good the past 5 years, that's awesome. Prior 10 years they weren't really good.

It takes overall wins, BCS bowl appearances and wins, National Championships etc.

3 titles should still be plenty to get you in the top 10

I'd rather have three national championships than one BCS bowl win in a fifteen year stretch.

I dont care if they went 0-12 in every year other than their National Championship years. They have 3 National Championships in that time frame and arent even a top 10 team?

List and author automatically loses all credibility.

Not surprising. Bleacher Report is the US Weekly of sports.

Penn State earned this spot by playing consistently good football for most of the past 15 seasons. The Lions won almost two out of every three games they played since 1998.

Weird. I checked and it looks like Penn State didn't win any games from 1998 to 2011.
