Panthers need to do some work on our draft, haven't filled needs.
This is why he doesn't actually run a team.
guys an idiot. He obviously thinks Mike Pollack is going to be a great starter, that Ron Edwards isnt going to come back and improve our DT situation and that Davis is one more knee injury away from calling it a career. Kuechely and Amini are starters from day one and both are drastically improving the team

Amini doesnt have to come in a start right away.

I have no faith in Kiper but it would be fun to watch him be a GM, just to see what his team would look like.

This draft has been an "A" so far. Two times we have gone BPA, stone cold. We have also taken two players in areas of significant need.

I love both picks. We are better at CB and DT than most people think or at least not as desperate as most people think.

Keep drafting BPA and don't trade up and sacrifice future drafts.

Jimmy Clausen would be his QB

To be honest, I disagree that Ron Edwards is going to be able to really improve our defensive tackle situation by much. He'll be 33 years old when the season starts coming off a season ending injury. I think the coaching staff is more hanging onto the train of thought that McClain and Fua will improve along with Neblett playing well.

Oh and that Josh Chapman kid.

1. Kuechly
2. Amini
3. Olsen

I'd say they're cleaning up nicely. Kiper may evaluate prospects but he doesn't know anything about teams. He goes by depth chart, nothing else.

He doesn't have to, but I think he will.

And Kiper, like most people (including a lot of us) probably went into the draft thinking our big needs were DT, CB, and WR, and depth needs were LB and OL.

People will flip out and give us horrible draft grades if our next picks are TE (Charles or Green), RB (Miller in the 5th? heck yeah!) and Punter Laughing We'd probably be put in the bottom five because we didn't fill our "needs", but I'd love it.

i like Norman, Crick in a trade up, Chris Rainey, Punter, depth at Dline/Linebacker

I don't like Crick at all, if he was there in the 6th I wouldn't complain about us taking him.

I really like Norman though, he's my 2nd best available corner behind Boykin. Rainey I'd be really happy with in the 5th, wouldn't be upset if we took him in the 4th, but there are lots of guys I'd rather have.

I could see us going after a pass rushing specialist DE in the 4th, a situational type player.

ive taken a big liking to Norman, good size/speed combo. Rainey is perfect for a Punt Returner, Crick just seems like the type of guy Rivera likes. I think we have some serious potential to get some players today

Maybe if we ran a 3-4, but he really has no place in our scheme.
