|
|
|
So, we've done this for the past several drafts (not 100% sure if we did it last year), but it basically works like this. You make a list of 20 players that you think the Ravens could/will draft. For every guy on your list that the Ravens select, you receive an amount of points corresponding to the round in which he is selected. I think in the past we awarded points equal to the rounf (i.e. a 4th rounder was worth 4 points), but I think this system could use some tweaking. I don't think someone who gets a 7th rounder correct should beat someone who correctly guesses picks 1, 2, and 3. I believe that later rounds should still be worth more, though, as these picks are much harder to predict. It's up to you how you wish to structure your lists (more early round guys, more late round guys, etc.). You can edit your list as many times as you want as long as the last edit takes place before the start of the draft. Good luck!!!!
First Rounder - +20 points
Second Rounder - +28 points
Third Rounder - +34 points
Fourth Rounder - +39 points
Fifth Rounder - +43 points
Sixth Rounder - +46 points
Seventh Rounder - +48 points
Values are tentative. Open for suggestions. Was trying to make later picks more valuable while also making the margin close as we got later in the draft. _________________

Hmmmm, didn't see what DB had posted. This can be locked if you want. I had just posted it bc we have done it almost every year for the last few years. _________________

I don't see why we can't play both games? I really enjoyed this one and DB's seems fun as well. With this, I say more the merrier _________________

Any thoughts on the points? Was trying to give it some weighting to the end rounds without making them ridiculously more valuable (i.e. 7 points for round 7, making the first round pick almost meaningless). _________________
