Here's what Calvin Watkins had to say on him:

Quote:
Pros: Has played in a 4-3 scheme as defensive end and a 3-4 scheme as outside linebacker. He has four-years of playing experience, earning his first start as a redshirt freshman where he started seven of the 13 games where he had 42 tackles and 5.6 tackles for loss and three sacks. Wilber has the body type, tall, lean frame, to add weight (249) which he'll need to take on tackles and tight ends. He's quick off the snap and is a physical tackler who plays with an attitude.

Cons: He's not powerful and needs to pick up some weight. Some reports indicated Wilber has choppy footwork and isn't assignment sound, but coaching can solve some of those issues. He missed a few games in 2009 with a leg injury and endured an arm injury his senior season in 2011. He's raw in some areas.

Cowboy fit: He'll play some special teams and should get an opportunity to play on passing downs as either an end or outside linebacker. He's a tweener so that gives the Cowboys some flex in terms of how to use him. You should expect him to compete with third-round pick Tyrone Crawford for some playing time on passing downs as a rush end.

Looks like we are taking the Texans draft approach from last year.

Not the most ideal pick. I do get the position but most scouting reports is he has trouble with open field tackles. I think there were plenty of better options on the board but I reserve this until I see him play. Theres no telling whos gonna be great and who isnt. He will probably be a special teamer and play on some downs and thats about it for now.

I am not an expert, but I feel like Jerry went against his own word on this guy.....I think this guy fits the mold as what he called a "cute" pick.....He's a tweener, that has to gain a lot of weight to fit his position....If I'm wrong, I'm wrong....And these guys know a lot more than I do, but for right now, I think there were better picks that filled needs.....

Everything I have watched on him that is one of his biggest strengths, he also incredibly quick to get off blockers and get to the ball.

PFW take on Wilber, I like this pick, seems very underrated and has a ton of upside.

Not comparing Wilber to him,but Ware was 251 lbs his rookie year I believe. (Wilber is currently 249)

Yeah thats why im saying that. He seems to be pretty solid in coverage and open field tackles. On NFL.com is where I seen the analysis lol so take that with a grain of salt with there great analysis of players

When you have the two best athletic QB's in your division, who can get to the ouside and do damage running the ball. You better have speed and rentless D players.

We need to make these Dline picks though. We need some pass rush and I think thats what were getting with these picks. They may be raw but you cant teach someone to have a high motor and work ethic. Im excited for them and to see these guys play.
