Word out of camp is that Streeter is struggling with his ability to catch the ball.

Torrey Smith had that same issue in camp. No need to panic. Now is the time to work on those types of problems.

This is why we got Jacoby Jones anyway. With the way Cam uses WR's, Streeter most likely won't have to play much, if at all. He's a guy that will probably take some time to develop, we definitely shouldn't be caught up in how he looks right now. If he still has all the same issues in three years, then we just get rid of him. He was only a 6th round pick so I wouldn't expect any kind of immediate impact. If he does, that's just a bonus.

I think Streeter has to develop a bit more physically (not just his hands) before he sees much time on the field. With Jones on the team I doubt he would get too many opportunities anyways. Hopefully Cameron opens up the offense a bit more and Doss gets some playing time but I'm not counting on it.

I heard that Cam used plenty of 3 and 4 WR sets during OTAs last week and that John Harbaugh is quietly demanding that the offense be more explosive (per Aaron Wilson and Jason LaCanfora, I tweeted both and the told me).

Sounds like music to my ears. The World needs more Flacco to Doss. Hell, the world needs Flacco holding up a Championship Trophy on the casual sports network opening scene. Laughing

Well according to Aaron Wilson Doss has looked strong during OTAs (I know it's OTAs but it's a good start), he also noted that LaQuan Williams too has looked strong and has improved his route running (looks much smoother).

Streeter has nice size and straight-line speed, but that's it. He's a natural body-catcher, and that is really alarming. His performance so far in mini-camps shows what a limited prospect Streeter really is. I compare him to Carlton Mitchell from the Browns. Or Jacoby Jones. Or Torrey Smith.

If he turns into Torrey smith I would be ecstatic
