| I agree 100%. Thats why I get so pissssss off when you do a mock and some smart butt tells you, IMO so and so won't make past Denver in the first rd. Well, Denver didn't even pick in the first rd and Stills dropped into the mid 2nd rd. I guess my mock wasn't so far off on that one. |

I love that Ted actually traded up so much this year, getting guys he obviously wanted. Not sure how, at this point, you can't give it a high score.
Also interesting that of the 8 picks, every one is a different position. |
I thought that Worthy and Daniels played the same position in the pros 34DE? But I agree with A+ one of the best drafts ever as a Packer fan now way the defenses doesn't improve. |
Worthy is an end while Daniels is mainly tackle... |
By tackle u mean NT? he has got to be to small for that. |
In the 2-4-5 which is the real base D, does it really make a difference? |
Yea, it makes a difference, I wanted to know where he was going to play and how it was a different postion than worthy, thanks for your answer with a side of additude though haha.
I'd still call him a DE, but Idk.

The way GB lines up in the 2-4-5 though, it's kinda a fake 4-2 nickle. The DL both are playing similar to how a 4-3 DT would and the OLB are just stand up DEs. He's not an edge DE guy either way, so he should end up being fine either way. The fronts the Packers use are fluid. Raji and Pickett both can play all the spots to varying degrees of effectiveness. He's not a true nose, and he's not a "prototype" 5 tech either, but he will be able to play probably both DE spots in the base and both DL spots in the nickle. The only package I wouldn't want to see him in is the Psycho, and thats just because I don't think that works at all without Raji. _________________

Ahh, and what about Worthy? I'm guessing he will play RE in the 3-4, but can he play the DT in the 2-4-5? _________________

Nice grade here by the fans.
Did you do this following the 2009 Draft with BJ Raji & Clay Matthews anchoring it?
I can't imagine that score could have been much higher than this one. _________________ "It's the same old Jay," Woodson told ESPN afterward. "We just need to be in position. Jay will throw us the ball." |

Actually I'd bet it is. There was a good % of the board (most of whom are gone now) who were absolutely 100% certain that Matthews was nothing more than a ST player. _________________

This one would score considerably higher IMO. There was a LOT of uncertainty about what Clay Matthews ultimate upside would be. Not sure many people thought he'd be as good as he was as early as he became. _________________

| I see Daniels and McMillian in the same way as DJ Smith and Ryan Taylor picks last year. People ( myself included) wanted Mario Harvey and other bigger names still on the board and Elmore and Guy were viewed as the better picks. Looking back Smith and Taylor made more of an impact last year. I loved the draft and the idea of what all of these guys (sans Coleman and Datko) can bring to the defense!!! |

I particularly remember a lot of crying about how much we traded to move up for Clay. _________________ Al Davis. Trolling Raiders fans since 1963. |

Long time no see.
But yeah, it was quite a bit to move up for a guy who was perceived as a hustle player. Turns out it was worth every penny and then some. _________________

Worthy can probably play more positions, particularly in the base while Daniels will primarily be a 3T on this roster in nickel situations. _________________ Top 50 Franchise Cornerstones (2012) - COMPLETED! |

Capers has to be very excited to have some serious talent upgrade to play with.
Plus a little bit in free agency. _________________ "It's the same old Jay," Woodson told ESPN afterward. "We just need to be in position. Jay will throw us the ball." |

Surprised to see such unanimous love for the draft. I myself like it but I can see the "Debbie Downer" side pretty easy.
A guy who most considered a better fit in the 43.
A trade up for a DL with motor issues.
A trade up for a player at a position TT has struggled drafting.
An undersized DL.
A guy nobody has heard of.
A trade up for an undersized OLB who will have to move inside.
A tackle with major red flags with his medical.
A QB with reportedly a huge ego and ties to BF.
Just surprided that NOBODY seems to have a single problem with any of those things. Amazing what a couple of years does. Can't help but think this draft would have been judged quite differently 5 years ago. _________________

Because every guy has knocks, issues, and maybe even some red flags in the draft. I have learned though that TT is more often right than not about them though. _________________

I think most of us have just learned that TT knows more than we ever will. _________________

While I can see your point of view, it really needs to be weighed from both sides. The talents are obvious, and not every single one of them will boom but the potential to be a great player in our system. _________________
