How did the Seahawks have a shaky draft last year? We got 4 starters including which is a lot more than some teams combined.

Does the name Carpenter ring a bell? Oh, and it was starters by default, as much as anything else. Now, let's please just stick to the subject at hand. Wink

Starters that played very well Wink

Irvin may be a reach but he is a perfect fit for the LEO. Same size as Chris Clemons but much quicker. Could have a big impact off the edge.

Anything "could" happen. Like the Seahawks just having had a puke-inducing draft. Could darned sure be the case! Razz

2. Cleveland: #22 overall for a 29 year old QB when you have McCoy doesn't make any sense.

Pretty classic. People are pretending like Jake Bequette just doesn't exist.

Ah-HA! Is this "Bequette" the secret ingredient that will make your draft NOT suck? Very Happy

Anyone care to tell me what needs were there that we needed in the 3rd outside of Punter? We covered all of them either in the 1st and 2nd rounds or in Free Agecny.

Or that the Chargers weren't going to take Tavon Wilson at 49 if we hadn't grabbed him.

Or that we didn't get Nate THE BEAST Ebner.

Last year Brandon Bolden...this year Zach Sudfeld!

Everyone is saying cb b/c you know..if espn says that is a team need then it must be true. I wasn't thrilled about taking a punter in the 3rd, but it was hardly the worst pick of the round or is by itself enough to proclaim the jaguars draft as one of the 3 worst. Their first 2 picks alone are enough to make this a good draft for them. They got the consensus best wr in the draft and a de many had projected in the first who I think has great potential as a 4-3 end, especially if he can fill out his frame a little more.

Anyway, as usual, the only time espn or nfl network talks about us at all is when we do something they can criticize....as if it was the only questionable pick in the draft, and most fans being sheep, it's easy for them to focus on this one pick. As with all drafts, we shall see.

Are you seriously trying to justify taking a punter in the third? Wow.
