- The days of 6'10" 400 lb. lineman are over in Miami. No more Marc Columbos. lol We are going to get smaller, quicker lineman and focus more on pass protection for Ryan.
- We finally have a scheme on offense. So now, when drafting players, we can see if that players strengths fit into our scheme.
- Ireland loves getting value picks.
- Philbin loves versatile players.
- Philbin truly doesn't believe in having a "#1" receiver.

The Chiefs needed more bulk, and got nearly 1,000lbs of it in the first 3 rounds.
It also tells me one of 4 things:
- We are happy with Matt Cassel at QB
- We really like Ricky Stanzi's potential at QB
- We think Brady Quinn is way better then he's ever looked in the NFL
- We are content to be a mediocre, one and done at best in the playoffs kind of team
