Last year, Titus was our top performing rookie, kind of by default, despite having a very good year. We didn't get anything out of Hogue or Culbreath as late round picks. Fairley and LeShoure were injured, although Nick showed some flashes at time.
Who do you see making the biggest impact among our rookies.
1.23- Riley Reiff OT
2.54- Ryan Broyles WR
3.85- Dwight "Bill" Bentley CB
4.125- Ronnell Lewis DE
5.138- Tahir Whitehead LB
5.148- Chris Greenwood CB
6.196- Jonte Green DB
7.223- Travis Lewis LB |

I would go Bentley. IMO he will be #3 on the DC and with both Houston and Berry having durability concerns he will be able to jump in right away. Not to mention with all of the multiple receiver sets GB runs and the way the league has incorporated spread attacks he should see the field often anyway. Ultimately if comes down to how well he performs in those situations and I feel he will be solid.
I haven't read much about his ST experience in college, but if placed there that could be an added. _________________

He'd be an immediate upgrade over Logan in the return game, and I can definitely seeing him being a major threat in the slot. _________________ Are you getting Ziggy with it? |

I'm going to go with Broyles. As he gets more touches it will be impossible for them to keep him off the field and his role will expand as the year progresses. _________________

That would indeed be great, but where is that production going to come from? It's doubtful our passing numbers as a team are going to increase (there's a reason 5,000 yards has only happened 5 times), so it's got to be coming at someone's expense. Scheffler? Pettigrew? Burleson? A little of everyone?
I think Broyles will have to be using sparingly for now. I'd say Reiff probably will be our ROY, but that's because he'll be the only one that starts games. _________________

I think you're correct, initially. If he plays up to his ability, he will be taking snaps and receptions from others.
I expect he will take looks away from Grew, Young and Burleson. _________________

| i think scheff & heller will see their touches reduced in favor of broyles, 'grew will still get his (and drop a number of them) i think nate sees his role cut back significantly once broyles gets worked in as the season progresses. |

He's going to be a safety release, just as Pettigrew has been the past couple seasons in Linehan's offense. Same as Jahvid.
With Calvin and Titus on the outside, the middle of the field has been, and will continue to be the sweet spot in opposing defenses every week. Broyles will step right in and fulfill the roll Best was supposed to fill, as an explosive inside threat- if he's healthy. _________________ Are you getting Ziggy with it? |

Once of Broyles best attributes is his hands. They're great and you won't see him catching the ball with his body. His hands are amazing. _________________

I fully understand I will be in the minority on this one but I am going with Greenwood.
His measurables are 1st round caliber at his position. He showed he could step up in the after season games. And if they learn he cannot turn and run with Wr's he is bigger and faster than Spivey.
I realize is a complete boom/bust player. I think he is boom so thats who I am picking
In fact I rank them in this order
Greenwood
Reiff
R.Lewis
Broyles
Bentley
T.Lewis
Green
Whitehead
After reading all I can the only player I dont think has a roll Is whitehead. And I still have no clue why we traded a pick away to overdraft the kid |
