I'm with you texasbearsfan. We have seen major changes for a single off-season and just about everyone on this board agrees that the bears have improved as a whole. So I gave it an A. For now, I would say it actually stands at a A- because of the lingering Forte contrat dispute. Otherwise, I'm happy with this off-season. Sure, i'd like to have Okoye or an extra corner but I'm very comfortable with this group... all teams have holes, some more glaring than others. This team has none of the latter type.

Crap!

I just realized that we never added anyone to the Devin.Fart ... this offseason was a fail. This team consistently fails to realize the importance the Devin.Fart has on this team and ignores it year in and year out. I think it's time for a new GM.

When you put it that way, it is pretty persuasive.

If you count Blake Costonzo (sp?) we kind of upgraded our LB's. Even though he was more of an upgrade for Special teams rather then LB and will fill the role the Brian Iwuw and Tim Shaw had in prior years. Not good LB's but great STers

We still have Nathan Enderle under contract...

I give the Offseason an A+.......we've kept all of our key guys and added some serious Offensive weapons and depth
anything less than an A- is plain hate IMO

Forte will report and play under the tag if a long term deal is not reached....his situation was and is being handled appropriately !

Can you believe Caleb Hanie got a couple of million from Denver? Unreal.

Scary huh? I'm very happy with Campbell as our #2...of course we would miss a lot of Cutler got hurt again, but the drop off in talent between #1 and #2 is much less than is was the last couple years. Heck, even McCown did well, so we are even "decent" at #3 on the QB depth chart.

For some reason I thought Campbell was only 6' when he is really several inches taller. I think it was a great pickup.

Solid B. Once Forte signs long term, I'll bump it to an A. Great offseason this year for you guys.

So if Manning goes down, he will do absolutely nothing in the pocket for 58 minutes while guys are running open right in front of his face and then he will throw a TD pass or two outside of the pocket in the last 2 minutes that will make everybody drool over his "amazing athletic ability."

Big difference - Tebow WON. One stinking victory from Hanie and we would have been in the playoffs.

Caleb Hanie was a nifty signing as a FA out of college. It seems that the Bears didn't do much with him in terms of coaching. What if Denver does a better job of preparing him? He is also closer to his Colorado St. locale.
