If hé plays Well in TC and preseason, sure we Need a ned KR.
lol they always do. Exhibition is so different cause dudes straight fly down field to kill, there trying to make the team to and know one special teams high light like tackle can set them apart. Its why guys like Maclin wont do itand just cant do it. The speed difference on coverage teams is insane cause every dude was the fastest baddest dude at his college. Its hard for us to put in perspective specially if you have not seen a game from field level , i can imagine its like watching this blur of muscular arm and legs spinning down field then boom like flak exploding in the air bodies go flying every direction. Its still from a physical stand point the most intense and most violent aspect of the game and its level of intensity and violent collisions goes up drastically in a real game.

I was a huge fan of Johnson when he was at Tulsa, I was happy when I heard that we signed him. He obviously doesn't have any chance of making the team as a receiver; as RC said, he's going to have to impress the coaches with his return ability, and I think he's capable of that, he was a flatout playmaker in college. I'll be rooting for him.

*No Fullback? Nope, the Eagles ran a lot of Celek and Harbor as lead blockers last season. They played more time in the backfield than Owen Schmitt. Harbor is a better blocker out of the backfield than Havilli, and Bryce Brown is likely the short yardage back so Havilli isn't really needed.

*3 TE? Yes, Brackett is used as more of a flex TE that can split out, while Celek is the in-line guy, and Harbor is the H-Back who jumps between FB and in-line.

*6 WR? Yes, The top 3 are locks, McNutt has reportedly had a strong offseason, and Johnson and Cooper both add special teams ability.

*No Joselio? Nope, if he doesn't win the nickel job over Boykin he's not making the team IMO.

I like this an awful lot, only change I would make would be cutting Thornton and keeping Polk.

I just don't see Havili as a necessary player. If he was a great blocker I'd probably look at it differently, but obviously that doesn't seem to be the case.

I liked Jeff Owens. If not for injuries, he might have made the team.

Apparently, he's teaching HS football in Georgia.

All I knew about that guy was that he had a chubby face and was super slow in Madden.

Nah, we won't rely on two rookies behind Avant, because if Jackson or Maclin gets hurt then a rookie has to start. I think Johnson will make the roster but not get a lot of playing time at WR his first year. I see both McNutt and Cooper making it, but them only activating one of them each game as long as everyone else is healthy.

I also don't see Havili as being necessary. Most cases we don't need a fullback, and if he can't block, then he's useless all the time.

I think we should PUP Mike Patterson so we can squeeze a few more games out of our DT depth, then potentially trade somebody instead of having to cut them by the end of the preseason.

I personally think we should keep Tapp, I want 6 DEs and 5 DTs. With Mathis' health, we need a good backup guard and same goes for Bell and tackle. Then we need someone who can play center as a backup, so we need I'd say 9 olinemen.

6 linebackers is standard, we should have that amount of depth, and we don't have the talent to keep more.

I don't see the point in more than 5 CBs or 4 safeties unless we had great depth. If we have good depth at corner, we just cut Hanson. Safety we don't have this issue.

So that leaves the distribution between deciding if we get 4 HBs or 3 TEs. Unless Havili is a good runner as well as a blocker, I'd rather just have 3 HBs and 3 TEs. I predict Brown will have a spot locked up, and then there will be a battle between Lewis and Polk. Lewis would have the upper hand if not for his stupid fire alarm thing just because he knows the system better.
