Dude, I really haven't had any personal interaction with you on the site. But now I see what everyone is saying. You're a troll.
#1, the rankings are subjective. If you don't know what that means, in this case it means it's an opinion, and a ranking based on my personal perspective of things. Many perspectives can exist, which makes it based on the viewpoint of the subject, me, thus, subjective.
#2, learn to read. Straight up dude, read the goddamn notes written next to the ranking. I ranked him there based on how much I enjoy watching him as a fan.
Stop being such a damn troll and start trying to integrate yourself into this site with just a bit more respect for the possibility of different ways of seeing things and respect for others. |
I'm sorry, I don't troll. You must have me confused w/ another member of the forum. It's happened before.....
#1 Oh and thanks for thinking I'm a moron b/c you feel the need to get all pissy and personal b/c I stated facts that Charlie Garner was and is better than the guy you're school girl over. If you're going to get all emotional b/c I told you how it is, maybe you should avoid my posts.
#2 Wow still super pissy. I'm sorry you don't know the reasons for lists.
I'm glad you know me and what I'm doing so well after you openly admitted to not having any personal interaction w/ me. Isn't that... well kind of a contradiction?
Sorry, not trolling and sorry even more that Garner >>>>> McFadden. He's not even close to being the 4th best person of this decade. You also didn't answer which player you would prefer. My guess is you didn't watch the Raiders back then. Garner was just as exciting, if not more exciting, than McFadden. _________________

If I was going to do a list also......
Gannon
Brown
Lechler
Garner
Rice
Asomugha (even though his play didn't win us any games. He still played the position well)
Kennedy
Burgess
Crockett
Woodson (would be higher if he didn't always get hurt)
McFadden (see above) _________________

So did McFadden |
Kind of my whole premises for suggesting Rod. Rod's one year > McFadden's one year. _________________

Once again, it has nothing with Garner vs. McFadden. Learn to read, like I said. You're really just not reading or paying attention, which continues in line with the way you act on this site. Respecting noone's viewpoint but your own.
I don't care about the Garner vs. McFadden debate, and I don't care how long McFadden has been good. Like I said in the part you still haven't read - I listed him at #4 because of how much I like watching him play. Not for any of your reasons. There's no debate, I like watching him play and for me that puts him exactly at #4. My perspective.
You are definitely a troll. With comments such as this - My guess is you didn't watch the Raiders back then.. That would definitely be a guess on your part, and quite wrong. I've been watching the Raiders for almost 30 years.
And what reaaaallllly makes you a troll is that you didn't even take the time to notice that I did list the Garner, Wheatley, Crockett backfield in my version of the top 10.
Do yourself a favor and take the time to read other people's posts and try to understand something someone else has to say about something. If you think Garner is better than McFadden make your own damn list. This is paramount to why interaction with you is a pointless endeavor. You're too busy on this site arguing other's viewpoints to even bother formulating your own positive contribution. I know you made your list above, but I notice it completely lacks any insight. Just a list with no commentary. So you all you see fit to do is judge other's commentary while being incapable of creating your own.
I'm really done talking with you and it has nothing to do with winning or losing an argument, as so the case so often goes on this site. It has to do with wasting my time, which you are doing. Pointless. Put forth an intelligent perspective of your own and feel free to share it, instead of piggy backing on and attempting to crap on other people's opinions. |

| The only way DMC can play all 16 games this year is if he's limited to 10-12 carries per game. |

The past decade was no doubt a rough one, but who were the top ten Raiders of the past decade?
Here's some players, I'm having a rough time making a top ten list lol but I'm curious to see what you guys think. It's tough because I was like 10 in 2001 lol and there's some things I vaguely remember. |
Really brings it home how success starved we've been for the last 10 or so years.........
10 Tim Brown Mr Raider only played 4 years i think in the 2000s but had 2 1000yd seasons for us despite his best years being easily behind him
9 Rod Coleman A beast of a DT and another who only reached his potential after leaving for the Falcons, Probowl and All Pro with Falcons
8 Justin Fargas Ran like a crash test dummy and never left anything on the field for the Raiders, is the son of Huggy Bear which seals the deal for me
7 Charles Woodson Never reached his potential here but was still a great player for us and to think if we could have paired him with Aso
6 Bill Romanowski The defensive version of Wiz, dirty, mean and tough...... an old school Raider type player who you'd rather play with than against
5 Steve Wisniewski Only played 2000 and 2001 but made pro bowl and all pro teams, he epitomises to me everything a Raider should be and is one of my favourite Raiders of all time
4 Derrick Burgess Great trade by Al Davis and although Burgess always struggled against the run was great as a pass rusher terrorizing the opposing QB
3 Charlie Garner Great all round back who could catch passes as well as most recievers, love to watch this guy play
2 Rich Gannon Mastered the WCO and was a real diamond in the rough trade for Al Davis, cerebral and gutsy QB who fell to pieces in the SB, had to feel sorry for the guy and should have had a chance to redeem himself but for injuries
1 Nnamdi Asomugha I have Scrabble at Nr1 as it sums up what the Raiders are about, Al Davis drafts him out of the blue and both the Raiders and Namdi take a load of flak. Nnamdi works his tail off and becomes the finest CB of his generation, and a top guy to boot
Honerable mention to Lechler and Janikowski but kickers don't float my boat and 'what ifs' in Darrell Russell, Napoleon Kaufmann and Barrett Robbins.............. _________________ “It may take us a short while, but we'll get that nastiness of the Raiders back.”
Mr. Al Davis RIP |
