what people seem to be forgetting, is the FACT that last year, in most instances, by the time a WR was 15 yards down field, Colt was either already on the ground, in the clutches of the defender, or running for his life.
This argument holds zero validity about him outrunning Colts passes. |
Oh good, this again.

what i find funny is that now that we added one player on the offensive line, all is fixed, and all pressure will go away. apparently the RT position is the most important position in the game of football- more important than the QB position itself. |
The problem isn't with the pressure it is with what each does with the pressure. With the same offensive line the hits and sacks went down when Seneca was in the game. Numerous times when McCoy had the proper pocket he would roll right instead of stepping up and usually rolls right into a sack. _________________ “From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.” -- J R R Tolkien LOTR |

Actually we added 2, the other rookie we drafted, I have faith will be better and starting over Lavau (sp) (I love mis spelling his name!!!). I can understand how you could add the numbers wrong though, your abacus must be in the shop. _________________ WHY SO SERIOUS!!!!! |

PS
You can post ALL of the cute little pictures you like, they matter about as much as the cute little troll pictures that were posted at my expense when the 95% of posters on here were calling me troll for stating the obvious that we were NOT going to sell our soul for RG3. When proven wrong, there were so many on here that were [inappropriate/removed] and butt sore about it, it was actually pretty funny.

ok, now back to your regularly scheduled program, the Colt McCoy excuse is nothing but a cop out, he had nothing to do with Mitchell's lack of playing time, if we had Dan Marino and his cannon behind center, Mitchell still would not have played. _________________ WHY SO SERIOUS!!!!! |

I've, in general, kept away from this conversation but I am going to call you out on this one.
We were 14th in sacks, if our WR's didn't have time to run 15 yard routes (standard route's for any 5 or 7 drop Qb play) we would have been far higher in sacks. And, using my eyeball test on the games I know this not to be true. We did need to improve the right side of our O-line and add depth, but we are all very much overreacting about the poor play of the line.
Now, I think the real reason Mitchell didn't play is because he was a 6th round pick who was pretty underwhelming in college. Norwood out performed him, and Cribbs is more versatile. _________________

If you call St. Louis choosing another team's offer over our 3 first rounders and a 2nd to move up 2 spots "NOT selling our soul", cool. I don't think that point is as sharp as you believe it to be, but that's just my opinion.
Oh, as far as the cute pics, I think this one is awfully cute and sums you up quite nicely. Maybe now that your Jamie Mitchell sig is gone, you can fit this in?

The Browns sold the farm to go after RG3. But the Redskins sold the farm and Grandma's diamond ring. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

RabidDawgs,
If you don't like being called a troll, then stop acting like one.
Everyone else,
Let's keep the discussion to football, and away from the stupidity. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

Actually, I like it, I wear it like a badge of honor, I know I am not a troll nor trolling, I find it quite humorous that some posters just have nothing else to fall back on so they keep coming back. Its amusing to me. _________________ WHY SO SERIOUS!!!!! |
