He was like 3rd among all rookies in sacks iirc.
Do you consider Von Miller and Aldon Smith to be DEs? |
No because they both play LB. |

Which DEs played better than Sheard? Aldon Smith was the better pass rusher, but he's an OLB in the 3-4. Miller was also a better pass rusher but he's a LB in the 4-3. Therefore, what 4-3 DE was better than Sheard?

Smith and Miller were above Sheard as pass rushers sure but it wasnt even by that much especially considering where each was taken in the draft. We got a stud in the 2nd. It's about time.
I think we got another one this year..
