Surprised no one posted about stone burner and Mowart and the punishment Meyer gave them for their stupid peeing in public crap.
They both lost their scholarships over the summer and will have to pay for their summer classes out of their own pocket. Right now they are off the team but have a chance to comeback and in the fall on scholarship. They are allowed to workout over the summer in OSU athletic facility but they are banned from doing any kind of workout with other "teammates" basically meaning stoneburner isn't allow to do anything throwing with Braxton or any "player" organized 7 on 7s _________________

A couple articles I've read said they are taking summer classes but the big thing is not be allowed to work with teammates. Which is huge in my
Opinion. Stoneburner can't work with miller throwing and catching and Mowart can't work with other OL or other DL. I didn't think Meyer's punishment would be that harass for what they did so hopefully others will take it as a warning to not screw up! _________________

It's the summer, there are no organized 7 on 7s. I don't see how they could keep those two guys from hanging out with their friends (teammates), especially since they're allowed to use the facilities and there aren't coaches around to monitor them. It looks like a smokescreen punishment, in name only to me. That's not a shot at OSU or Meyer. What the players did, while not something to be proud of, isn't a big deal, so major punishment really isn't warranted, in my opinion. I think this is just Meyer making it look like he's doing something because of the reputation Florida had under his watch. Some schools have the same name only punishments or less for bigger offenses (DUI for example). They'll be back on the team before fall camp, not a big deal for anyone involved to me. _________________

There are "player" organized 7 on 7s. Im sure of it. Coaches aren't involved but coaches have players get them together to work with one another. Coaches can suggest the players to organize them but coaches just can't be around it or tell them what to do at them. I remember at my DII school for football our coaches gave our starting QB all the information to get players to come. So I'm pretty sure Meyer or any other college coach would do the same specially when u have players staying up for the summer.
They are allowed to be with teammates in the weightroom
And etc but they are not allowed to do field work. Coaches are not allowed to monitor them but the coaches are around the facilities. Also the strength coach is allowed to work with them. So their is a coach around to keep players in check
Oh I know they will most likely be back with the team in the fall because I doubt they will do anything to screw up again. Just feel like banning them from doing field work with teammates at the facilities is harash for getting in trouble for peeing in public. You might not think its not a big deal but I do. I've seen the benefits of field work bewteen teammates for my DII football team over the summer. It's specially big because the offensive players need to work on running plays from their new offense together and Stoneburner was looking to be the #1 target for Miller next year so losing the chance to work with him all summer can be huge. Hopefully it allows Miller to build with the young WRa _________________

dude u have no idea how important this signing really is...
if you look at Meyer's blue print for this teams future, its build a fast swarming lethal defense and have an amazing punter. so basically he wants to make it as tough as possible for opposing offenses to do anything vs OSU. Opposing offenses will hopefully struggle vs the defense then add in OSU getting a stud punter that when OSUs offense sputters that this punter can pin them deep. So basically Meyer wants to dicitate with his defense and ST to set up the offense.
wants the defense and ST to really dictate the field position battle _________________

I think it's one of those things where you don't miss it until it's gone. Having a great punter rarely gets noticed, but when you have a bad punter, it tends to stick out.
Any excuse to post that gif, haha. _________________

You didn't need to go into that speal Buno.
I love the fact we got a potential quality punter.
NKS camp hangtime champion - 4.94 sec
NKS camp distance champion - 56 yards
If he continues with anything close to 4.94 sec hang time...We will be set for 4 years on the punting aspect of special teams. he will have an insane amount of Fair catches called. _________________

shut up lol
im glad we got a stud punter...stud punter and a great defense is a great aspect to have. It can take a lot of pressure off the offense. Give Braxton Miller short fields to work with will make him very dangerous. Meyer said he wants to put up a lot points as the HC of OSU. Well that right there is a step towards it _________________
