I love it, I have him as a very cheap keeper in 2 fantasy leagues, but if it were not for that, I'm not sure I would be satisfied. Will Greene be totally healthy but camp even? Carolina and SF seem to have an overload of RB's
Car
Williams/Stewart/Tolbert
SF
Gore/James/Jacobs/Hunter/Dixon
Making a trade for either Stewart or Hunter would make some sense. |

Carolina traded goodson so I doubt they trade Stewart. Tolbert is more of a fullback for them. _________________

| It is way too early to assume anything other then Starks will likely go into training camp as the #1 RB. I do believe there will be an additional move or two at RB, but I think it is safe to say Starks will be listed #1. |

Starks best role is as the load carrying guy who pretty reliably picks up 4 yards. He doesn't have the second gear to regularly take it to the house but as a starting back on 1st and 2nd down he's a good option.
Green is the question mark. Has the hands, vision and patience on screens to be an excellent 3rd down back. Maybe more.
I could see us bringing back Grant on the cheap for TC. He may be 29 but he's got hardly any wear on his tyres for a guy that age. Underused in college, backup in NY and had a year out in 2010. I don't like him as a #1 but he does have greater top end speed than Starks and provides more of a home run threat.
If not, Saine looked ok last year and could make a 2nd year jump. |

I imagine he'll be splitting carries in some capacity with Green. _________________

I agree. We only run a handful of times so the mediocre talent we have at the position will do. _________________

We don't need a running back.
We need a running back that can pick up the blitz and catch out of the backfield. _________________

I agree, we should definately take the ball out of the best player in the NFL's hands more often... _________________

Not too mention I'm absolutely fed up with Alex Green! Every time he touches the ball I get pissed off! _________________

A joke I assume? 3 NFL carries.
Starks will carry the load until it breaks him. I'm not sold on any of the RBs until they can do something of substance for more than 1 game. _________________
