Guess this will be the LAST trade of this mock.
49ers trade pick 7-210 to Chiefs for 2014 6th round pick. |

You had a great draft. I was trying to trade up for Mingo. I had a deal in place for pick 7, but you took my target. I also was wanted to draft Mellette. _________________

Surprised by both actually...Couldn't pass up on a potential 2ooo yard receiver this year...not to mention, Gene and myself love us some small schoolers. _________________

Thanks. I used your thread to help me find some solid players later in the draft (Lacy, Toilolo). _________________

First off I want to say this was fun even though I joined late..
Falcons draft: (I was not the GM when the trades were made to move up in the second, it was completely one-sided. The pick was also pretty lousy as we have 3-4 capable WRs on our team now.. So don't judge me on that.. Whoever was doing the draft did have a big hit with Barrett Jones IMHO though..)
16. Atlanta Falcons: Barrett Jones OG Alabama
-(I did not make this pick) I think a solid pick. This should be McClures last season and that would move Konz to C and Jones could play RG or vice versa. Both are capable of playing both..
33. Atlanta Falcons (via/Car, via/Cle): Marquess Wilson WR Washington State
-(I did not make this pick) This pick was more than lousy. Whoever did this obviously was not a Falcons fan (actually I think it was BringinDaPain, a Panther's fan) because we moved up 15 spots in the 2nd and gave up a ton to do so (a third and a fourth). The pick also didn't hit a need. We have no need for a WR like Wilson. If we pick up a WR in 2013 it will be in a later round..
129. Atlanta Falcons (via/CAR): Zach Ertz TE Stanford
-I picked Ertz to replace Tony obviously. Ertz is a quality TE for the early 5th round too
176. Atlanta Falcons: Giovani Bernard RB North Carolina
-One of my favorite guys for next year's draft and I got him in the late 6th. I think Bernard will be a top 5 RB next year.
208. Atlanta Falcons: Maurice Couch DT Tennessee
-Had to pick one of my guys here. DT depth will be a need next season and Couch could be a low risk-high reward type of player this late.. Probably wasn't on any other team's radars though..
Btw, if we are shouting out whose draft we like I think Sabo did an excellent job for the Jaguars.. Also Adrenaline_Flux did a pretty damn good job for the Dolphins as well. Okoro would be an armed robbery in the 7th.. _________________

Solid draft for both. I'm surprised Jordan lasted until the 3rd. _________________

Okay, I'm just going to pick all of the unmade selections right now and wrap this up. I'll be posting all 7 rounds in the NFL Mock Draft forum if you want to go check that our and defend your selections. _________________

Thank you SoS for salvaging this mock. I'm already looking forward to Operation FFMD next year. _________________
