The Honeybadger is my main target right now. Right now WR, DB, and DE are the three areas we should be focusing on the most right now. _________________

Tyrann Mathieu is going to be a terror on defense for whoever picks him. I think he can be to the CB position what Troy Polumalu is to safties right now. Having said that I think the kid is going to measure closer to 5'7 than 5'9 and really take a blow in "draft value". I think he can be a traget in round 2 or a trade back up into round 1.
Justin Hunter is a WR to keep an eye on. If he returns healthy for the entire season has elite potential and could pass Robert Woods as the top WR.
The draft prospect I will include in ever mock this season is Margus Hunt DE Southern Methodist. He may not be much o a great DE, but the kid is a special teams monster because of his ridicuous height and strength. I hope to land him in the 7th to perform a special task of blocking kicks. So far in his career he has blocked 14 kicks in just 3 seasons. That would be a serious special teams advantage if you had a threat like him. _________________

I actually think that Mathieu could be a polamaulu type safety _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

I don't know about safety, but I generally agree. For as much hype as he gets, he really isn't that great in coverage. But he's a crazy good playmaker. Kinda like Charles Woodson. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

which is why i believe he will have to make the move to safety. idt he is good enough in coverage to play CB in the NFL but i believe he has enough to play safety. the guy just flys to the ball and is a pretty good tackler. also when he gets to the ball carrier he is pretty good at getting the ball out. _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

I think the Honeybadger will play a S/CB hybrid role getting lots of PT at both positions. For instance safety in regular packages, nickle corner in 3 cb packages. The kid is a great tackler and great blitzer and very quick. Having him play nickle corner makes the QB afraid of 'Is he going to blitz me? Will he drop back over the middle or man up on that guy? Should I audible the run to the other side?' etc.
There are so many things you can do with that guy. I wouldn't want to line him up as an outside corner against big wide receivers covering deep, but playing him at safety or at nickle and allowing him to wreck havok over the middle of the field where he will be able to blitz, tackle (and strip the ball), or jump routes for INTs makes the most sense.
Also hes going to be one hell of a punt returner. _________________

Sam Montgomery DE
This is the kid that I want next year. He'd be a beast opposite Jabaal Sheard.
If we hadn't taken Weeden, I would have said Tyler Wilson. He's going to be a real good QB at the next level. _________________

Mathieu is tiny, he's 175 lbs, and 5'9" (and that I think may be a stretch). TP has 2 inches and 40 pounds on Mathieu. Woodson is tall. I just can't see a guy as small as Mathieu playing safety in this league, Tight Ends would just destroy him. _________________
