We have been through all the presaon activites that Floyd can do without a contract, we get him signed we can get him in and doing as much as possible.

Same deal with Flemming.

this might be the first time since i have been a cardinals fan that we have signed our first round pick before the start of training camp.

even last year with the rookie cap we still didnt get Peterson signed before camp lol. It was like three days into camp if i remember correctly. which is no big deal or anything, but it was strange to me.

That;s because we had the free agency and the trading period at the same time. Acquiring a quarterback was our biggest offseason priority and even though it sounds weird to say, Peterson's contract really was a back burner issue until that got sorted out.
