| Quote: | | Chiefs signed DE Ropati Pitoitua, formerly of the Jets.Pitoitua cleared waivers, as expected. If he makes the Chiefs' final roster, the designated run stopper will play a situational role behind ends Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey in Romeo Crennel's defense. |

If you got a chance to watch some jets games, you would see that he holds the line of scrimmage very well and is solid in positional run defense which is exactly what we need him to do. At 6'8", 317 and only 27, he can offer some great depth. He should take Bair's roster spot _________________

| Low risk signing. I like it. The guy is huge! I found a couple of pictures on the internet of him sacking Tom Brady and chasing Tim Tebow - Love it! |

Donīt be surprised if both Brandon Bair & Ropati Pitoitua, are both the back ups to Glenn & T-Jax. Both are about the same size, only Bair is about 40 pounds lighter than Pitoitua. |

me likey
actually I think Bair may be in jeopardy of not making the team. he's 27 yoa and hasn't really gotten a shot yet but we have many new bodies now competing for spots along the DL. Don't forget newly drafted Jerome Long too, who I expect to play at DE, Luke Patterson kid on roster too who will compete for DE depth i'm sure. I could see some guys who were still waiting on to get a shot and show something not making the team this year. Was always hopeful we had a player in the LB Cameron Sheffield from Troy but nervous he may be gone too. The injuries slowed him down. Guys like that better have one hell of a camp/preseason. Competition is good... |

Torn ACL in 2010, not last year.
