RG Jahri Evans - 6'4" 318 - #2 RG
RT Eric Winston - 6'5" 314 - #1 RT |
This is what I was talking about with different rankings.
Because I have two the same (Long at #2 and Evans at #1).
But I have Iupati at #5. Winston at #7. And Birk not ranked at all. |
oh of course. I reallllllly wanted Mangold but someone had to take him before me (JGIC...) _________________

I felt after a year of OTA's, camp and preseason his game would go to the next level. He was considered raw a bit coming into the draft as it was. I still need a swing OT and I really wanted Brandon Albert who went just before I picked. I took Waters instead as he was pegged to be my last pick in this round. I just did not see any OT I felt I needed to have and went backup NT instead. |
See that's where I took my risks in Glenn and Gaither. They are excellent sized guys and have talent to play multiple spots (Gaither both OT's, Glenn all four non C spots). I can also have a BIGGGG package of this for the goalline:

I like how deep you are at tackle. You have my #2 and #3 swing tackles, in addition to Long/Winston.
Of course, I feel like I struck it huge by getting my #3 and #4 left tackle prospects (Brown / Roos), although Jonathan Martin is a very marginal prospect (my #32 ranked tackle, so only just worth drafting). Must admit I was hoping to get Reiff... |

my big wildcard is honestly Kalil. He could be the next great pass blocker of this generation. he just has it all together. if he is, expect Long to move to RT and Winston to be depth at RT/RG/LG. I have a LOT of versatility on the OL though. _________________

Good pick in Derek Cox. Was going to take him with my last pick instead of Cason. However, I didn't like the idea of carrying 3 corners coming off injuries.
Also, since a lot of new people joined in this year predicting when a position run will happen is really hard. Hence why I have taken some players early. I took Bironas simply because every time a kicker goes a whole slew of them follow. I wanted to get first dibs. |

That's my first non-BPA pick in ages. Roos, Wilson, Johnson, McFadden were all straight up highest rated player, whereas this is a "need" pick.
We'll see whether the other player (that I would have taken if I'd heard back from Grimey) lasts another 8 selections. |

Balls.
I wanted 1 rookie and OM just took him. I've already got a rookie RB, DT and OLB so I can't pick them.
Time to go rogue - you'll love my next pick... |

Clearly no. Best player eva!
Don't get me wrong - I've done it plenty of times (suddenly decided that a guy was a great pick despite never wanted him before the draft after the Falcons picked him - example a is Matt Ryan) but sometimes Jacksonville fans just seem delusional. |

It has been a while DaB but I did not have Anger in line to be my next pick. Thank you for finally not picking a guy I wanted to fall another round.
I am still bent out of shape that I didn't see Michael Roos falling and forgot about him. That is what I get for not making an actual big board and just going from the hip on my picks. Just did not have the time to make a board.
Luckily with the rookie draft I could lean on my top guys from my positional rankings.
After this is completed I would love to see yours and Scar's boards and discuss the differences with what I felt when I was on the clock. |

| Darn you Jgold for picking Demario Davis. Never saw him getting picked. I had him targeted for my next pick since the beginning. Nice going. |
