I said if Wade got 30 we would win, and he did. My favorite player stepped up today so I am happy. If he plays well the rest of the series, we will advance. I agree with exactly what Chris Broussard said: 1 role player has to step up each game. Chalmers last game, Haslem today. Now we know at least those two can. If they both step up then we should win every game. If one does then we should have a shot. If none do, well see game 3.

Granted LeBron had 40 as well totaling ~70% of their total points between just the two of them... they can't keep that up, even if it's split right now.

LeBron is definitely never clutch. So obvious folks.

See, this is the stuff I don't like. Listen, LeBron played like a boss today, nobody is taking anything away from him. However, to make a statement you just made, you're asking for resentment right now.

You weren't posting here when LeBron missed those two FTs earlier in the series with under a minute left in the 4th. You weren't posting here when LeBron didn't shot up in the NBA Finals last year.

LeBron played great today, but please, don't post sarcastic remarks if you're only going to come in here when LeBron beast.

I don't think he's particularly amazing in the clutch, but the comment was directed at the small sample size (i.e. "never clutch").

My issue is with the term "clutch" in general, which is really more of a "what have you done for me lately?" thing than anything else. Conversely, it's rooted in one's longstanding team record. It seems that a player can either be clutch or not, and it's largely dependent on circumstance. However, once someone wins enough rings, nobody can question them being "clutch". Similarly, lose enough in the playoffs and you're never "clutch".

LeBron is a great player who will have good and bad games. There's no statistically significant evidence out there to make the claim that he's amazing or terrible in the clutch. That's what I take issue with. This game is just an example of an ongoing fallacy with how people assess NBA players based on personal whims and the "eyeball test".

Fair enough.

I'm looking forward to how Wade and LeBron play in game 5 in Miami and how the Pacers try to adjust to slowing both those guys down.

As far as today goes, LeBron was literally amazing. Can't deny that.

I was happy to see Haslem finally get some shots to fall in. But Lebron has been carrying the team for a while, its just the people who hate him that don't want to give the man props. One game it was just him & wade, next game it was just him and Chalmbers, this time we had some shots fall , and Haslem help spread the floor. Heat finally got something going today. Wade got hot in the 3rd. Because of Lebron we was finally able to get some rebounds.

Don't really know what you're trying to say. They wouldn't have won if LeBron just kept stuffing the stat sheet without Wade stepping up so your statement means nothing to me.

Wade wouldnt of had to step up if he didnt play like a bum off the street and give zero effort. Obviously the heat wouldnt of won without either stars, but lebron deserves the most credit...like he gets when the team fails.

The game was within a few possessions with about a minute and a half to go. Both guys were important to the Heat's success, Jesus Christ.

Why are people being so petty right now? "Wade was more important" "No, LeBron was the key"... How about, they were both important and key to the Heat's success. Wow, what a concept.

All of you are wrong. The Heat would of lost if Vogel didn't take Collibeast out of the game

Let me ask this, if Wade was hurt instead of Bosh how would the Heat do?

Heat would win in 5 IMO.

The Heat were consistently down 8-10 points with LeBron just stuffing the stat sheet, I hope you're content with that.

This is absurd. Stuffing the stat sheet? Please tell me you're joking. Is it his fault other people can't score or do what he does. You say it like he was stat padding, if he wasn't stuffing the stat sheet they'd have gotten blown out of the water.

But if Lebron wasn't doing that they would have been down 25, which gives Wade no chance to step up in the 4th.

Wouldve been tied if wade showed up in the first half..stop trying to discredit james, its sad.
