Any chance the Steelers take a chance on him. He is a great lead blocker. I know he tore his mcl last season but hear its not as serious as an ACL.

To be honest, I bet we take what we already have into camp, I really doubt we sign anyone else at this point. We all know how the steelers work

Well actually now's the time that the Steelers usually bring in a couple vets; not really the big names like Mughelli, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers bring multiple names in, at least to try out for a job.

Big names like Mughelli ???? errr...ok awkward silence j/k Bro Surprised

I'm pretty sure there won't be a signing at FB from any current FA's out there - just my .02. Haley has very specific mold for FB. A Road Grater with stickum on his paws ( read latest Steelers Digest interview ) ...or else we will use our H Back Hybrid guys

Okay, maybe he shouldn't be considered "big named," but he is easily a top 10 fullback in my opinion, and probably a top 5 fullback as well. But I, too, am fine with our hybrid TE/FBs, and definitely wouldn't mind keeping D. Johnson to fill in the H-Back role again.

I don't know anything about this but I have noticed that if there's a rookie being released, Steelers will grab him and put on P.S. or even let him compete for the roster only because insufficient at the position (RB depth, this was when we got Davenport) it's not likely but possible. If Haley don't like what he see, wouldn't be surprised.

I could be reading this wrong, but are you saying the Steelers look to pick up rookies released from other teams? If that's what you are saying, Najeh is a bad example because he had been in the league 4 years already when the Steelers picked him up.

Interesting...Blair White was released by Colts pre-draft.
His rookie year was good for an UDFA. He's 6-2 205.
Last year he was injured and on the PUP. Maybe injury issue?
Be great competition if healthy.
Was a walk on at Mich State.
