Although Andy Reid is yet to officially announce it, Mychal Kendricks seems to have won the starting SLB spot (according to a few Philly reporters who where on hand this weekend). There is some hype building on the young man.

Kyle Wilber ( 51 ) OLB from Wakee Forest 4th round pick was said to be the most impressive rookie from camp, Adrian Hamilton UDFA OLB from Prairie View A&M was right behind him on the Dline, Coaches were impressed with both of these guys with thier motor and Also Tyrone Crawford ( 70 ) DE from Boise, but they said he needs to get used to the heat.

For the secondary (which is highly important to us cowboys fans) Matt Johnson ( 37 ) Safety 5th round pick from EWU has been impressing people with small rumors about competeting for a starting job with Brodney Pool.

And for the Offense our UDFA Guard Ronald Leary ( 71 ) from Memphis is in the mix for the starting spot this year apprently, and Danny Coale ( 81) WR Virginia Tech was was said to be as advertised( precise route runner, good hand and learns plays quickly), and is in the mix for our 3rd WR spot(Slot).

Thats it for now.

(p.s. The Clai-maker Wink had hand surgery so he won't be ready until training camp)

Everyone that is in shape is impressive in rookie camp.

Yeah, I remember when I first started following the nfl, I'd get so hyped up on rookies when they had good reports in mini-camps.
Oh Troy Williamson is having a good camp? He looks fast you say!? FUTURE GOAT!!11!!1!

They really don't mean anything though, just sugar coated journalism and glorified walkthroughs.

To be fair, that's like announcing Andrew Luck has won the starting job in Indy. The Eagles' LBs were non-existant Razz

Boykin (4th round CB), have been pretty impressive so far. He have been handling some Punts and also been playing inside and outside on Defense.

Saw Boykin as probably being pretty good. If he winds up being your nickle/slot corner and PR, that's a great pick.

Crying or Very sad I wanted him on the Pats so badly

All of the Seahawks rookies were reaches so I don't think they're allowed to look good.

Big.

Laughing

Honestly, like the other guys have said, these rookie minicamps mean little to nothing. I haven't even been reading about who looks good because they should all look good at this point.

The only 2 guys I've heard about from J'ville are Blackmon and Anger. Blackmon looked great but he is out with a foot injury.

Anger is booming the ball with 5+ hangtimes too

I think Kendricks could end up being the best linebacker from this class. Do you think Brian Rolle will still end up starting?

Probably not, it's going to end up being...

Kendricks-Ryans-Chaney

They are our best 3 linebackers IMO.

It could very well be that trio in bold, with Rolle as back-up WILL, Matthews as back-up MIKE, and either Fokou or Jordan as back-up SAM.

Captain Obvious strikes again...

But hey, nowhere for that unit to go but up, right? Wink

Exactly Smile I'm a big fan of Kendricks. But, if he wasn't considered the starting SLB the second his name was announced, I'd have to question the coaching staff.
