Met him at a show and he was displaying this 50s buick he had and a McLaren. Could of stood there talking to him all day long. Gotta be the most down to earth, blue collar guy in hollyweird.
Never seen his tonite show before though. Do watch his car segments and his garage online stuff. |
I met Leno once and talked to him for about five minutes. He was very nice to me, but you can't judge a man by just one five minute meeting. With celebrities, you hear good things and bad. |

Leno pays about $500, which isn't much. But until he gets his NFL contract, I'm not going to criticize him for trying to make a little extra money to support his family. |
I saw it online. He did a decent bit (liked the snark about Laurie's tie).
Still, while I see where you are coming from mid, I'd rather he focus on the team. |

Yes, and for what Leno pays, his military parents can afford to support him a little while longer. |

I'm sure he'll pay them back. |

| Quote: | What single play does he believe clinched the Heisman Trophy for him? Griffin thinks that Baylor's 31-30 overtime win against Kansas turned the trick. (Griffin: 312 Yds, 3 TDs, 1 Int).
Leno's staff expected Griffin to credit the Oklahoma game, Baylor's first win over the Sooners. They rolled video of Griffin's final touchdown pass of the day, a 34-yard beauty that broke a 38-38 tie with eight seconds to go. Griffin accounted for 551 yards total offense and four touchdown passes.
What did he do the night he won the Heisman? Griffin treated all of the Heisman candidates to dinner. |
I like those answers, the overtime win vs Kansas was huge and earlier in the season. If he doesn't win that game or "turn the trick" he has no shot at beating out luck or the heisman, losing to Kansas would have been a horrible loss.
I like that he took the other heisman candidates out to inner after winning. I hope he does that often for his OL and wrs, without those guys griffin won't have success. I like that he seems to be a great teammate guy who puts his team first. The more and more I hear about him, the more and more I like him. _________________
