Yeah, that was nice too.
It's so sad that Iverson never got a ring, unlike some players I know...

No offense but that's what everybody does to win a Kobe argument is throw up that photo, the ones that I know at least. _________________

It was just in reply to someone showing a gif of the Lakers being abused. Nothing serious should be taken from it.
But the Lakers did beat the 6ers in the finals in 2001, but I'm not sure if you were following way back then.

Touche SiLo.
DET played a great series that year vs the Lakers. I thought we were going to win for sure, but we got blasted in 5. _________________

I remember that series, the only team to beat you guys in the Playoffs that year . If that AI was on this team, we'd be a contender year in and year out. _________________

That team was the definition of a heart of a champion. No superstars, just a team playing together through it all. The fact that yah still had Kobe & Shaq made it sweeter. _________________

I'm a Sixers fan and not big on Kobe, even though he was born and raised in Philly.
BUT...
I would take Kobe over AI 7 days a week. _________________

That's easy to say in hindsight, were you watching basketball when AI was playing? He was unstoppable, if only he had a championship on his mind early. _________________

That's really the only time I actually paid much attention to basketball. Once Iverson got traded my interest kind of slowly faded away.
And yes it's easy to pick Kobe in hindsight, but I thought that was the point... _________________

Ohh AI my favorite athlete of all times
Back in the day I would have taken Iverson, the man can score with the best of them. Def a HOF.
In retrospect I would take Bryant knowing what I know.
Iverson over Lue is without a doubt my favorite moment of him.
Coming a second is his 60 point performance vs the Orlando Magic

This game winner versus Germany is def 3rd.
I miss that man. _________________

Kobe is one of the greatest players in NBA history. He's a very athletic 6-6 with an ability to take over games and has limitless shooting range. Also made the All-Defensive team multiple times.
Not to take anything away from the 6 foot, great scoring and explosive AI, but I would take Kobe 11 out of 10 times over Iverson. Wouldn't ever think twice or regret the decision either. Hindsight or not, Kobe had the better build and NBA pedigree to become great. Coincidentally, they both got drafted in '96.
Kobe compared to AI is like Jordan compared to Isaih Thomas (for lack of a better choice). A no brainer for me. _________________
