Watching that reminded me just how excited I am that the Rams got Watkins. Laughing

Was actually really impressed with how he handled Jones.

Yep. He shouldn't have played Tackle but he played pretty well. Has all the tools to be a great guard. I love that play where I think it was him vs. Jones on a draw and he literally just threw Jones onto the ground next to him.

Jones was really getting thrown around in the run game and Lattimore made him look absolutely silly at one point.

Lattimore does that to a lot of players lol. I wish he could stay healthy.

I vivdly remember a 5'8 180 CB knocking Lattimore out.

Ok? He caught him with a helmet to the jaw when Lattimore was turning up field, it was a nice hit. Not sure how it(or Reid's size) is relevant.

Mingo needs time to be polished but like has been said his upside is beyond scary. If he gets paired up on a bad team with a good pass rusher like the Vikings, and he could learn and be polished, he will be an all star for yrsto come

I still have trouble figuring out where I like him more, I feel his a little more limited in the 4-3 than in the 3-4.

3-4 or 4-3 for Mingo?

His speed in a 3-4 would be terrifying. His closing speed jaw dropping.

5:52. Unbelievable.

thats what makes him soo scary, i don't think he has the best pass rush moves to be a 4-3 end and he isn't a guyw ho is going to bull doze you, 3-4 would def be his best place but then it comes to how effective can he be when not rushing the passer?

Jones has a field day vs Florida. Very impressive. his use of the inside/outside fake and then the swim is scary good.

I'll take Jarvis Jones here all day everyday. Mingo is thin, raw, showcases no hand-play against OTs, and his tackling form is extremely poor. He's a tremendous athlete, but it takes more than that in the NFL.

In fact, I prefer Sam Montgomery to Mingo as well at this point.

Jones has better hands and moves than Mingo. He's also stronger, sheds blocks better, and IMO, shows better against the run.

He's also a pretty good athlete in his own right, as well.

He's not even close in Strength and vs. the run skills to Mingo. Mingo is clearly better, no question.

Yea, I disagree and agree with Falastine. Jones is better vs. the run especially if you watch his games from the second half of the season.

Jones has great speed, but I don't see the type of burst off the end from Jones that I see from Mingo. I think Mingo is going to have an outstanding season.
