Why do people keep putting Ware at DT? Do you really want him getting double teamed on every passing down? At DE he might get chipped by a TE, but then is one-on-one vs an OT. Why neutralize our best pass rusher?

So we can be as ineffective as possible.

for me the idea was to get a front 4 that could get to the QB the quickest. there is no chance that either Hamilton or Butler wold be able to get past a guard, so they have to play DE. Ware and Wilber are both much stronger, and I see them having a shot at getting at the QB when having no responsebilities against the run. especially Ware with his combination of size, speed and strength. you don't see the Giants DE's being ineffective when they are being used inside, do you?

The Giants have 3 great exterior pass rushers, though. Dallas has 1.

If you want to get to the QB the quickest, you put your best pass rushers on the outside, not the inside.

just thinking that this way 4 guys have a shot at getting to the QB pretty fast. if Butler or hamilton lines up as DT, they would never make it. but well, it was just an idea.

some stuff I would like to see on offence..

Hanna ------- Witten - Phillips - Smith - Livings - Costa - Arkin - Free -------------- Bryant
--------------------------------------------- Romo -------------------------------

--------------------------------------------- Murray -----------------------------

it could be awesome for Murray to run in the left side of this formation. it would also be very good in passing since both Hanna and Witten got some skills as a reciever.

Witten - Phillips - Smith - Livings - Costa - Arkin - Free ------ Austin ------- Hanna

------------------------------------ Romo -------------------------------

------------------------------------ Murray -----------------------------

Austin will try and stretch the field, Hanna will run a slant and use his size and speed to make a play. Hanna could also be running deep while Austin tries to draw coverage away from him. Witten will run a short route and function as a safety valve for Romo.

Miles Austin ------- Smith - Livings - Costa - Arkin - Free - Witten ---------- Hanna -------- Bryant
-------------------------------------- Romo ---------------------------

---------------------------------------Murray -------------------------

Dez runs a fly where he hopefully is in single coverage because of Hanna running a deep post and Austin trying to occupy the other safety. Witten will try and exploit the gap after Dez and Hanna by running a dig out. it could also be nice to see Murray run in the right side of this formation.

Radway ------- Coale ------ Smith - Livings - Costa - Arkin - Free ----------- Harris -------- Austin
-------------------------------------------- Romo ---------------------------

---------------------------------------------Murray -------------------------

Radway and Austin will try to stretch the field and create space for Coale and Harris inside. Murray can run a short route also.

Goal line

Bryant -------- Witten - Smith - Livings - Costa - Arkin - Free --------- Andre Holmes

------------------------------------ Romo -------------------------------
------------------------------------ Vickers ------------------------

------------------------------------ Murray -----------------------------

Bryant, Witten and hopefully also Holmes will be awesome targets to have when standing at the endzone. I hope to see Bryant run more fade routes this year.
