Does that mean Howard's going to the Lakers ? He signing an extension I'd assume..

Yes it is, and didn't hear anything on the extension yet.

4 Team Deal Between Orlando, LA, Philly and Denver.

Weird deal since it makes no sense on so many levels.

NBA deals tend not to makes sense a lot of the time.. Lakers definitely got presence with Howard, although it's not really a huge step up from Bynum, who's probably the 2nd best center in the NBA.

Though a line-up with Bryant, Nash, Gasol & Howard could definitely rival the Heat as long as Kobe brings his game.

Howard has back issues which isn't gonna help him. They still need some players on the bench though, they still got the division, not sure the conference though.

I haven't cared about basketball in a long time, but that lineup is absolutely stacked. Nash and Kobe on the same team?

Baseball>Basketball

Or rather MLB>NBA, I really hate the NBA though basketball is great fun to play.

I honestly just have a hard time getting into sports in which games are played on just about a daily basis. Perhaps It's easier to say I have a hard time being just a "casual" fan of something; it's gotta be all or nothing. There are plenty of hardcore baseball/basketball fans but I just don't enjoy those sports enough for that. Although It's quite cool that the Orioles are in the wildcard hunt in the MLB this year, despite having a lot less talent then the teams in their division. Ultimately they'll probably fall short but if they finish above .500 that would be a huge accomplishment.

Watching some pre-season NFL last night got me pretty amped for fantasy draft coming up in a few weeks and the season to kick-off. It's not quite EPL for me but it's something I can devote a lot of 'fandom' to so I'm excited for it.

I think that's the case for me, I support the Orioles/Celtics in their respective sports whenever they're on but I find it impossible to follow as if I miss a week I'm completely out of touch with whatevers going on.

I swear the activity in the forum has fallen off the cliff since I came to China. Poor show lads, you need to pick up the slack.
