With the plug being pulled on the 3rd annual Eagles Nest Babe Draft, I've been trying to think of other ways to garner interest and activity into the Philadelphia Eagles forum during the dead period of the offseason.

What would you guys think of participating in an All Time Philadelphia Eagles Draft? With the draft obviously consisting strictly of players who have suited up in an Eagles uniform, whether it'd be in kelly green, or midnight green. While I feel as if it'd be a fun draft to be included in, it would also serve as a learning experience to the more uninformed Eagles fan as it offers a chance to learn about former players and more history about our team.

At this point, I'm still uncertain on whether this is a sure thing or not. Obviously, I need help from you guys. First off, I'm hoping we can get at least 8 loyal, active members involved in this, more than 8 would be completely fine; the more the marrier. If you want to join with a partner, that is also fine.

If this proves not to be a complete dud, then we can discuss rules and regulations for the draft and voting once the draft is completed. As far as rosters are concerned, due to the number of players needed, I feel as if a starting lineup is all that would be necessary, along with a coaching staff. (11 offense, 11 defense, 3 ST & 3 coaches)

Again, this isn't set in stone going to occur. YOU guys are going to be the deciding factor. What have you got to lose? If you're interested, or have any questions, please don't hestitate to post!

I feel as though limiting it to the Eagles history of players would saturate the field of available players. For example if you want 8 teams, that means we'd have to pick the 8th best quarterback in Eagles history. Nobody wants to select Bobby Hoying

Anyway one of my favorite drafts we've ever done was the all-time NFL draft. Use any team, any era. It's a lot of fun and researching for it is extremely informative

I don't know how deep the mods (or whoever runs it) want to delve into it but we could do a mini FF mock draft. Make 6-8 teams and a draft order. Draft players and coaches alike. Maybe create a salary cap and a salary for each player (maybe too much work). Have posters team-up (by join year Twisted Evil) and go against each other. Add a few twists to make it interesting; post draft trades and/or maybe a round or two for a fantasy pick-a-player from any other team in any other era. Just spit-balling. Then we can do a bracket-off and have posters vote on each team's respective unit. Like team A's O line V. Team B's D line or whatever. Team that accumulates the most points moves onto the next round. Winner gets punch and pie.

I tend to agree with Poloc and Jroc about maybe making it an all-time (or current only) NFL draft, as opposed to an all-time Eagle draft. And I do like the idea of two (or even three) posters per team.

Maybe we'll put this to a vote and see what the majority of posters feel about this?

Not sure an Eagles-Only draft gives us enough players to choose from, an all-time draft would be fun though, I'd be down.

That's perfectly fine with me. Whatever you guys want to do.

I think he was implying taking the best player ever drafted at that position by the Eagles, that actually played for the Eagles. One team. Unless I misread it.

Why would he ask for 8 participants if they were just gonna pick the best player at each position for one team?

ALL TIME NFC EAST FOR THE WIN. The pools of great players for us is not huge out of the 40s and 50s and think the history of the division is really strong.

I chose neither because I don't usually participate in these kinds of things, but I also have no idea to substitute it, either. As a budding attorney, we have no original ideas; however, I can regurgitate some law for you and file some papers.

By the way, if anyone was recently in a car accident or fallen down on someone's property, please PM as soon as possible.

I would undoubtedly participate in an All-time draft. I personally voted for the All-NFL one although All-NFC East sounds appealing as well

Can you find some specific laws on dog pooping in Denmark?

Is it a rule that all law firms must have 3 last names in them? Laughing
