I would assume he's referring to his cap hold. |
You can't cut players that have player options. It's up to the players whether or not they come back. _________________

I didn't know those decisions had already been made. How did you make these decisions? _________________

Mutual decisions between myself and CWood based on rumors (EG: here's a source saying Crawford will opt out, which isn't farfetched at all) and logic (EG: DeSagana Diop won't pass up $8 million to test free agency). _________________

This whole thing is just getting started a little more quickly than I thought it would. All the decisions so far make sense IMO. _________________

Came together a lot faster than I thought it would. I was surprised with how quickly people signed up, so I felt the need to start it up as ASAP. _________________

Shocking really. | How? We're saving money...
Wallace opted out so the Nets keep his bird rights, but he has a $14,250,000 cap hold onto our available cap space.
Hypothetically lets say we have twenty of forty eight million in salaries committed with Wallace opting out.
We can’t spend twenty eight of it and then go over the cap to resign him. You’d have to subtract $14,250,000 from it leaving you with $14M of available space.
Thus we're saving $ by waiving his CAP hold. _________________
